Description of the Yosemite National Pk vacation home rental

Enjoy the relaxing serenity of "Creekside Retreat", and make it your home away from home. This remodeled 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, 1500 square foot home sleeps 8 people (1 King, 1 Queen, 1 twin bunk bed, 1 queen sleeper) and boasts a large 'great room' with knotty pine walls, peaked
ceiling with ceiling fan, wood burning stove, dining area, Central Air Conditioning & Heating and a view overlooking
the creek valley.

We also have a ** Virtual Video Tour ** of the home that we would be happy to share with you.

The kitchen is also knotty pine with a Jenn Air stovetop, and newer appliances including: refrigerator, oven, microwave, dishwasher with a breakfast bar and barstools. The house is fully furnished and also has a newer clothes washer & dryer.

The deck wraps around 2 sides of the house and is equipped with a propane gas BBQ grill and an outdoor table with chairs.

The house is nestled among the pine trees and rolling terrain of the Pine Mountain Lake community. Since the
properties on both sides of Creekside Retreat are not developed, Creekside Retreat is secluded and private and very comfy. The property also backs up to the seasonal creek that runs from Pine Mountain Lake, and features beautiful views of the creek valley and distant hills.

Area Information

Creekside Retreat is located within the gated community of Pine Mountain Lake in beautiful Groveland California, just 25 minutes from Yosemite National Park and Sonora, Ca..

Pine Mountain Lake community and the city of Groveland (about 2 miles from Creekside Retreat) provide everything you will need for a memorable vacation stay, including:
18 hole championship Golf and Country Club, Driving Range
Tennis Courts, Swimming Pool (seasonal), Horseback riding, beaches, parks with picnic tables and BBQs, boat rental (seasonal), fishing, hiking, horseshoes, masseuse, campgrounds, markets, pharmacy, medical facilities, numerous restaurants, private airport, and friendly people!

Cherry Lake, Lake Don Pedro, Yosemite National Park, Jamestown, Sonora, underground caverns, Black Oak Casino and other attractions of the Mother Lode Gold Country are all a short drive from Groveland.

Nice vacation cabin for family

Thanks so much for letting us stay at your house. We had a wonderful trip and everyone totally loved your house! Our boys loved the bunk beds and also having their very own bathroom (surprising how the little things make such a big difference)! It had so much room and was a nice change from four of us being cramped in a hotel room as we were during our 4 days prior in San Francisco! The area was absolutely beautiful - we visited the lake and really loved the Pine Mountain community. We also spent the day in Columbia - it was excellent! They have really done a great job preserving the 1850's! My only regret is that it is so far away - if I could just move Pine Mountain more towards Illinois, life would be great! :) Again, thanks so much for everything! Best Regards, Dawn C.

We are thrilled that you and your family had such a great time. Yes... a separate bathroom can alleviate a lot of bumping into each other.

Your comment about wanting to move the house closer to Illinois is kind.... but alas...if we did that then the house would be farther away from Yosemite and Pine Mtn Lake. After careful consideration of your request we will have to politely decline. hahaha We get this request a lot so please don't feel like you are being singled out.

We hope you and your family will be able to visit Creekside Retreat again in the future.

Fun and relaxing, but a little far from Yosemite

We had a great time on our trip. The house was perfect. We did have an unrealistic expetation about the distance between Yosemite and the house. While the edge of the park is 30 minutes from the house it will take you an hour to get to Yosemite Village. I think if we actually want to see Yosemite we'll stay somewhere in the park next time.

Very Relaxing

We had a wonderful time at Creekside Retreat this past weekend. It was very warm up there, but not unbearable. The ceiling fan kept us feeling cool. We were very happy with the whole reservation process. The staff at ReMax were very efficient and we were able to complete the whole registration process very painlessly via email and phone. The cabin itself was just right for our needs. We had plenty of room and all the supplies we needed. We all enjoyed the deck and listening to the frogs at night. We had fun visiting the swimming beach nearby and also the main beach at the marina. We even had fun catching some fish. We didin't go up to Yosemite on this visit, but felt it was within reach. We would definitely recommend the Creekside Retreat to our friends and will try to come back again ourselves on a future getaway.

The accommodations were one of the best I have ever experienced. Everything was provided for us. The kitchen was fully equipped. the grounds were nice.checking in was easy & we saw lots of deer.
