Description of the Yosemite National Pk vacation home rental

Enjoy the relaxing serenity of "Creekside Retreat", and make it your home away from home. This remodeled 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, 1500 square foot home sleeps 8 people (1 King, 1 Queen, 1 twin bunk bed, 1 queen sleeper) and boasts a large 'great room' with knotty pine walls, peaked
ceiling with ceiling fan, wood burning stove, dining area, Central Air Conditioning & Heating and a view overlooking
the creek valley.

We also have a ** Virtual Video Tour ** of the home that we would be happy to share with you.

The kitchen is also knotty pine with a Jenn Air stovetop, and newer appliances including: refrigerator, oven, microwave, dishwasher with a breakfast bar and barstools. The house is fully furnished and also has a newer clothes washer & dryer.

The deck wraps around 2 sides of the house and is equipped with a propane gas BBQ grill and an outdoor table with chairs.

The house is nestled among the pine trees and rolling terrain of the Pine Mountain Lake community. Since the
properties on both sides of Creekside Retreat are not developed, Creekside Retreat is secluded and private and very comfy. The property also backs up to the seasonal creek that runs from Pine Mountain Lake, and features beautiful views of the creek valley and distant hills.

Creekside Retreat is located within the gated community of Pine Mountain Lake in beautiful Groveland California, just 25 minutes from Yosemite National Park and Sonora, Ca..

Pine Mountain Lake community and the city of Groveland (about 2 miles from Creekside Retreat) provide everything you will need for a memorable vacation stay, including:
18 hole championship Golf and Country Club, Driving Range
Tennis Courts, Swimming Pool (seasonal), Horseback riding, beaches, parks with picnic tables and BBQs, boat rental (seasonal), fishing, hiking, horseshoes, masseuse, campgrounds, markets, pharmacy, medical facilities, numerous restaurants, private airport, and friendly people!

Deposits: REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT: The $300.00 deposit is refundable to you if everything is is in order (i.e. clean and unbroken, etc...) when you leave. Maximum occupancy is 8 ppl. You will need to supply your own sheets and towels. Blankets and pillows are supplied for you.
Other Fees: Holidays:$175/nite, 3 nite min. Reservation Fee Charges pay for: *Administration of your Creekside Retreat reservation. *Provides you with a local contact in Groveland for check in, check out, key pick up & drop off, assistance & urgent needs * Post departure inspection & sanitization (kitchen, bathrooms, vacuuming) of house. * Entrance pass (normally $15/car) & parking privileges to Pine Mtn Lake (the secured, gated community where Creekside Retreat is located) and to its amenities.

Fun and relaxing, but a little far from Yosemite, August 26, 2009

We had a great time on our trip. The house was perfect. We did have an unrealistic expetation about the distance between Yosemite and the house. While the edge of the park is 30 minutes from the house it will take you an hour to get to Yosemite Village. I think if we actually want to see Yosemite we'll stay somewhere in the park next time.

We had a wonderful time at Creekside Retreat this past weekend. It was very warm up there, but not unbearable. The ceiling fan kept us feeling cool. We were very happy with the whole reservation process. The staff at ReMax were very efficient and we were able to complete the whole registration process very painlessly via email and phone. The cabin itself was just right for our needs. We had plenty of room and all the supplies we needed. We all enjoyed the deck and listening to the frogs at night. We had fun visiting the swimming beach nearby and also the main beach at the marina. We even had fun catching some fish. We didin't go up to Yosemite on this visit, but felt it was within reach. We would definitely recommend the Creekside Retreat to our friends and will try to come back again ourselves on a future getaway.

The accommodations were one of the best I have ever experienced. Everything was provided for us. The kitchen was fully equipped. the grounds were nice.checking in was easy & we saw lots of deer.
