Description of the Yosemite National Pk vacation home rental

This 2 BR 2BA house is a home away from home. There are queen beds in each of the two bedrooms and a futon in the living room, all of which will accomodate a maximum of 6 guests. The home has convenient access on a paved road that is only 5 miles from Mariposa. There is plenty of parking for an RV and 3+ cars. The well equipped kitchen will make meals a pleasure to prepare, and there is also a barbecue grill for outdoor cooking. All linens are supplied.

Area Information

Easy access: only 5 miles from the historic town of Mariposa, where you'll find excellent dining, shops, museums, and other attractions. Property is conveniently located between two entrances of Yosemite: 40 miles from Yosemite Valley, which is a scenic drive along the Merced River Canyon on Route 140. The alternate route along HW 41 takes you to the south entrance of The Park where you'll see Badger Pass, the Giant Sequoias, and Glacier Point.

The two nights spent at Sherry's little home was simply wonderful, the bedrooms are super cozy, clean and enchanting, the home is very well equipped, a very functional little kitchen, the bathrooms are clean. the entire place was lovely and enchanting, The kids loved the space inside and outside. This will be our place to stay each time we visit Yosemite, provided its vacant. Thank you Sherry for a wonderful vacation.

Our friends and I stayed here for 1 week. It is a wonderful place. We really enjoyed our stay at this cozy place. The owners are very friendly and are nearby for help if anything is needed. The home itself has everything you need, especially lots of condiments for cooking in the kitchen. The rooms and bathrooms are clean. The place is very quiet and has beautiful views. The porch is a wonderful place to stay and relax. The drive to Yosemite through 140 is around 1-1 1/2 hours depending on traffic and is very beautiful. Only few complaints are that the internet is spotty sometimes and the air condition is a little weak when it's peak summer afternoon heat. But, these two issues are minor. Overall, it is one of the best vacation homes we have stayed at.

Our family of 4 stayed in this clean, well supplied and comfortable home. It is 30 miles from Yosemite, about an hour scenic drive, which we made every day for our 4 day stay. The home is clean, with a nice large yard and a friendly cat. It was very comfortable with Internet access, though it could be sporadic. Great porch for sitting on after a full day of hiking in Yosemite. We easily bought groceries in Mariposa on our way to or from the park. I would highly recommend this location and would stay here again.

We stayed at the vacation home for three nights, and we all agreed we would've loved to stay here longer. The home is comfortably furnished, has a beautiful view over a big yard, and sitting outside in the evening enjoying a drink or reading a book is a great way to relax after a day of sightseeing. Yosemite is just over an hour away, but it's a lovely drive. We would definitely come back.

We LOVED it here. I did not want to leave- Everything was wonderful, from the accommodations to the books to the movie choices. We fell in love with Maude, she greeted us every night. We woke up to a "flock" of wild turkeys and the beautiful lady deer came yesterday morning, right up to the deck! So serene, so beautiful-can't wait to come again. Can we leave a deposit for next year?
