Description of the Yosemite National Pk vacation home rental
Beautiful, newly built lodge surrounded by National Forest. Rates are based on number of people. During peak season, the entire lodge rental base rate for 2, is $195 per night. Add $35 for each additional person. We are 25 miles from Yosemite highway 120 entrance. This 300 acre ranch in the middle of the forest has miles of roads and trails for hiking - horseback riding - two swimming holes - a limestone cave for exploring. We make our own solar power. We are on the site of the Yosemite Miwok Indian winter camp, and a historic property from the Gold Rush days. This was in the heart of the gold rush - bring your panning equipment. This was the start of the Coulterville trail, the very first route into Yosemite by horseback, and the way John Muir went on his first trip into Yosemite Valley. Come get a taste of history, we are pet friendly, horse friendly (5 stall barn and 2 fully fenced pastures) and kid friendly. It is a great opportunity to spend quality time with family.

The property has 3 queen beds, 3 double futons, 8 bunk beds, and 4 1/2 baths, giving lots of sleeping possibilities. We have a game room with ping pong, and lots of decks, porches, and an outside fire pit.
Area Information
We are surrounded by the Stanislaus National Forest, on Bull Creek, 11 miles east of the little town of Greeley Hill, with a full grocery store and gas station. We are 11 miles south of Buck Meadows (on highway 120). We are 4 miles in on a county maintained dirt road that is accessible just about year round, with a regular city car.
