Alternatively, try the bars, restaurants and clubs of nearby seaside resort of Aldeia Do Meco. Try visiting the Moorish Castle that dominates the hill above Sesimbra village, the views from here are spectacular and the church absolutely stunning. Lisbon is only 20 miles away and the airport only 25 miles ( about 40 minutes by car ) A hire car is recommended, although a taxi transfer can be arranged for you.
