“Wonderful, comfortable accommodations”
We were five adults and two large dogs, and this home was more than sufficiently spacious for us. The decor is warm and welcoming, the beds are incredibly comfortable, the kitchen is HUGE, and the place was immaculate!! We had a lovely time. I highly recommend this rental.
“Lodge was the highlight!”
Our family stayed in the lodge for a little short of a week and couldn't have been happier. Everything we needed for a relaxing vacation was already set up for us when we arrived. Jeff (owner) had some great advice on the local outdoor adventures, offered a great rate and couldn't have been more helpful. Our little girl, upon our departure, was lobbying to move in for good!
“Mass Atv Club Stay”
What a great place to stay ! Like Jeff said bring yourself and stuff to eat ! Set up as a true Homestyle setting. Will be going back up again for sure !
This was my first time visiting Maine so I didn't know what to expect. When me, my husband & our son (accidentally) passed the cabin I said "I wish we were staying there" when my husband said we are!! This is the coziest, most beautiful place we have ever stayed. They thought of everything from dishes & grill utensils to comfortable beds & a cozy wood stove you can sit & cuddle by. We set one in August just to sit by it & cuddle! The woodwork in the house is so intricate & beautiful, we just truly felt at home. You can bring your own food & cook in the fully applianced kitchen or on the grill, which is great for saving some expenses, but there were also some awesome little places to grab a bite in the town of Greenville. The family who owns & rents this property are honestly the nicest people I've ever had the pleasure of meeting, they treat you like family. The location is just about in the middle of everything from the absolutely breathtaking Moosehead Lake region to the even more breathtaking Moxi Falls. There was fishing, hiking, waterfalls, amazing views & my absolute favorite, we saw bears & moose! My husband is an avid hunter & I am a girly girl, so I was apprehensive about going bc there were no fancy girly things! However, I honestly had the most amazing family vacation. We had so much fun exploring the beautiful area up there & really spent quality time together. The cabin & location is great for hunters in a group, couples by themselves or in a group, but most importantly for you & your family to go somewhere & just unplug & spend some amazing time together. I cannot wait to go back!!!!
In Sept. 2014 my family and I stayed at Maine Wild Adventures. To say the least it was amazing. Whether you are looking for a family get away, hunting or fishing trip, hiking, sightseeing, nature watching or just to plain out relax this is the place to go. There is so much to explorer and do in this area. The Dube family not only caters to what your looking for out of a trip to the Big Woods of Maine but their love for the outdoors is will keep you wanting to go back for more. I have stayed with Maine Wild Adventures several times in the past before their new Lodge. Just when I though they could not get any better they open the new Lodge and it is breathe taking and only minutes away from Greenville, ME. If you looking for a place to stay that is in the heart of everything to do in Maine this is the spot to be. I plan on retiring in this area in the years to come but until then Maine Wild Adventures will be my second home. Hats off to this family and what they have done.
The Maine Wild Advertures lodge was convient and comfortable. We were wowed when we opened the door to this spacious, well equipped and artfully arranged space. The homeowner personally shares his story of many successful hunts by furnishing the lodge with trophies and photo albums which were fascinating to see. If you enjoy four wheeling, the trail is right across the street, and takes you to miles and miles of scenic locations. We LOVED it here, and are planning a return to Monson and the Maine Wild Adventure lodge as soon as we can!
What a special place. This beautifully appointed lodge has it all. Whatever you want to do this location is centrally located to everything. We went four wheeling, hiking, swimming within a short distance of the lodge. Moosehead Lake is 15 minutes away with great restaurant and bars. The Lodge is so comfortable. It was a pleasure going HOME in the evening to such a relaxing environment. Can't recommend this place enough. The Dube family was so helpful and accommodating. Will be back next year to continue our exploring of this beautiful area.
Happened to fall upon, what I consider, to be a "hidden gem," in the heart of Maine. Under 1.5 hours from Bangor and within a short drive to Moosehead lake the cabin provides multiple opportunistic outdoor activities, to included (but not limited to) hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, quading, canoeing, and fishing. I personally stayed for a bear hunt. The hospitality was class A+ and offered a "do it yourself" option or an excellent guided option as well. I took the guided option, and I'm thankful I did!! First time bear hunter. But not first time in the woods. A eagle scout, hunter, and soldier I fully endorse Maine Wild Adventures, and a special thanks to Jeff Dube for the excellent, safe, learning, and hunting expierence. Though no bear was harvested, it wasnt for lack of trying. Nor was it for the lack of bear concentration. The scouting methods reveiled at least, 20-30 different bear in the area. This made every hunt that more exciting. Even more convenient is the ability to sight in your weapons of choice...if you choose to. Close gravel pit for firearms. Open area for shooting bows. Close to snowmobile and four wheel trails. The cabin is easy to locate, family friendly, and for an unbeatable family price!! Washer, dryers, full bath Main floor, 1/2 bath 2nd. Regular sized fridge, in the cabin. Can't say enough about the experience.
