Great vacation!

Great vacation!

September 15, 2008

Casa Duo was a great experience for us, we had one of our best vacations there!! Celsa and her daughther Edith are great, they will make you feel very comfortable and at home, Celsa will cook delicious meals and hot fresh coffe will be waiting on you every morning. Everything is very clean, the place is wonderful!! The house is located in a gated community so is pretty safe. The bedrooms need a little updating but it really doesn't matter because the rest of the house is so great that the last thing in your mind will be going into your bedroom. The upstairs pool is set up to allow you to hang out with your friends and family in the open and airy living area and at the same time watch your kids swim within a few feets away. The downstairs pool is bigger than the one upstairs, it has a big Palapa with a bar, grill and a sitting area, there are bar stools in the pool next to the bar area for you to swim and drink the delicious Margaritas Edith prepares and brings to you, there is also a w

I just wanted to be the first from our group (Steve Chambers'' oklahama & Iowa group) to tell you what a wonderful vacation we had at Casa Duo. We have travelled to many warm, tropical places in Mexico, the Carribbean, Hawaii, etc. and we ''ve decided this was our favorite vacation, yet!!. Our favorite activity was just relaxing by the pool enjoying one of those margaritas. Also enjoyed sneaking off to the room for a siesta. The service, atmostphere, & accommodations were all super. We had plans to eat out some during the week, but after one meal from Celsa, we never missed another. Jaime, and the others were so accommodating, gracious, and kind. Celsa''s daughter even made us all valentines for last Friday. Thanks so much for making this paradise available. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a perfect, relaxing vacation.

Agradezco mucho su entusiasmo y su ayuda con este proyecto. Es un placer de trabajar con Usted! Saludos, Daniel

We had the best time & your villa is incredible. We spent most of the time in the 2 beautiful pools. Celsa was an incredible cook, our rooms were always in top shape & very clean, and Jorge was the best! We loved him and he was so friendly and so attentive to our needs. We loved to sit in the open-air living room every night and play cards and chat. The villa was so beautiful and perfect for us! We had the best vacation and the weather was lovely. Roberto was an excellent addition to our vacation. From the first day he took care of us and drove us everywhere we wanted to go in Acapulco. He went out of his way to take care of us girls at the market in downtown and we were very impressed with him - he was great!! Thank you for your wonderful villa, staff and friends...you allowed us to have an incredible Mexican vacation and we''ll never forget it. I can''t thank you enough for all you did for us! We love Casa Duo!!! Take care and thanks again, Megan

This will be quite helpful for planning our wedding recption. I can also assure you that your staff will be tipped. Valentin and I both have worked in restaurants for several years and know what it is like to cook and serve others. All I need to know now is how or when we need to reserve the time. The dates I requested I am 90% sure is what I will need. I will discuss the dates futher with my friends and family. But anyway let me know what type of money transfer we would do. In the meantime, thank- you I and I will speak with you soon. Leigh and Valentin.

We have moved to Chapel Hill, North Carolina. If you are ever in this area please know that you have your home here. We greatly enjoyed Casa Duo and have told everyone that it is the place to relax and enjoy Acapulco. We have a ten month old son, Alexander Anthony Ferris, as a very special "keepsake" from our trip. We hope to take him to Casa Duo so that he will know it as well. Our son, Ted (19), is in his first year of film school. I have suggested to him that he write a script with setting in Acapulco and Casa Duo and that we could go there to film it. Would that be acceptable with you? Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you and your family. Best Regards, Mike, Maria, Ted, Rebecca and Alexander Ferris 103 Dorset Point Chapel Hill, NC 27516

We may have mistakenly charged to the phone, send the bill so we can figure the bill out on who owes what to you. I am sorry about that. It was enchanting and we were delighted to be there. Your housestaff is phenomenal and we all fell in love with selsa and jorge and the gang. They are kind and courteous and couldn''t do enough for us. Everyone that had not been to acapulco was ready to come back at a moment''s notice. It was ten degrees F when we landed and we were not a happy crowd to be home. I had to work the next day and was up all night on a 24hr shift so I finally caught up on some sleep on monday. The girls are already trying to duplicate some of selsa''s receipes. I had left you a message on your voice mail to try and get an idea for a suitable tip for the staff. We wanted to make sure that we had given them enough because they certainly deserved it. They seemed pleased so I guess we did ok. We probably won''t be the worst houseguests that they have had but I know 9 women can be trying. I find mexico really callng to me and I hope to one day be able to be of some help in the medical field on some mission trips. Hope you remain well and prosperous and you will hear from us again when we come again. My best regards and please forward our appreciation to your staff. Saludes elsa garza fisk

I wish i could express to you what a wonderful trip we had. We had many plans to eat at expensive restaurants during our stay but one meal from Celsa changed all of that. We only ate one time away from the house and that was the buffet at the Mexican show at the downtown center. Great show but the food could not compare to Casa Duo. The entire staff of Celsa, Jaime and Edith were marvelous. We have never been so pampered in our lives and they provided a genuine feeling that we were " rich and famous" as our local guide kept calling us. Celsa even prepared Mahi Mahi from our fresh caught fillets as a last minute side dish for our final evening dinner. I have never had better fish in my life. We begged her to come home with us when we left but you have a firm hold on her. We are already trying to organize a return trip and will advise. Thank you so much for providing the most wonderful vacation experience of our lives. Please feel free to add us to any list of references that you provide prospective customers. Aloha Alejandro!
We had such a fabulous time!
Your casa is outstanding and the views are incredible. We spent most of the time lounging by the pools and drinking margaritas. Each of our guests can not wait to return in the near future.
Your staff was equally as wonderful. A few members of our group actually wanted to hire Celsa and bring her back to the US... but she is very loyal to you. Her cooking is unmatched and she is such a sweet lady. She actually gave us hugs in the morning.
Once again- thank you very much! Five stars all the way! You can give my e-mail to prospective clients if you would like.
Mike Schellhous

PS: One of my guests was unaware of how the phone charges worked. He builds apartment buildings and needed to keep in touch daily. Please send me the bill when you get it and I will send the money to your Los Angeles account pronto! I apologize- I thought everyone was using their calling cards.

Estimado Alejandro:

Muchas gracias,

Hi, Alejandro--
We just got back from our 10 day vacation to your lovely villa yesterday, and I just had to write and tell you what a great time our group had!! Everything was just as we expected and as you had promised. The weather was just gorgeous, and afternoons by the 2 pools were just what we needed for some sun & relaxation. Adam and the staff were attentive to our needs, even though we are very unaccustomed to having someone wait on us hand & foot. Celsa is an absolute gem--you are very lucky to have an excellent staff who make guests feel at home. Although my husband Thomas did all of the cooking for our group, he and Celsa worked side by side in the kitchen and by the barbeque preparing the food and became good friends, each learning cooking words from the other. His Spanish vocabulary is quite improved! Once again, I just had to let you know what a good time was had by all. We all came home with lots of new silver jewelry, a nice tan, and fond memories. Thanks again for sharing your villa with us!

Dear Alejandro -

My family and I spent our annual family reunion at Casa Duo from June 5-19. I have to tell you that it was the best reunion we've ever had!!

Casa Duo is a paradise. The rooms are well appointed and quite comfortable. The view is beautiful -- we enjoyed some of the most fantastic sunsets we've ever seen And the open-air sitting room was a wonderful experience -- nothing like having a swimming pool in your living room!!

I had some concerns about coming to Acapulco in "rainy season." However, the weather was quite sunny. We swam each day in the two pools, and took some great pictures of us under the falls. In the two weeks we were there, we had only one afternoon of light rain, and one night of a magnificent storm, with lightning bolts quite visible over the sea. It was a beautiful sight.

I cannot say enough about your delightful and helpful staff. Celsa is a terrific cook -- we thoroughly enjoyed each and every meal she prepared, and she accommodated our every wish. Celsa's daughters did an excellent job of taking care of our rooms, and they did their work in such an unobtrusive way that we weren't even aware of their visits. And the waiter -- Fernando -- was a sweetheart. Always with a great smile, always ready to see to our wishes. The entire staff was friendly and welcoming, and they did everything they could to make our time at Casa Duo enjoyable. It was, by far, the most relaxing and the most pampered family reunion we have ever had.

I will certainly recommend Casa Duo and all its pleasures to my friends who might also be considering a Caribbean vacation. I cannot imagine a better place to spend it.

We hope to see you again next year.
