This was our second year at this location. A little disappointed in the appearance of the house. It wasn't cleaned when we arrived and the place is a bit run down. The stove had two burners out. Lights were out and the deck needs to be replaced. The location is beautiful and the people are nice but need to invest some funds in upkeep or this house is not going to make it. The lake is warm and inviting. We suggested to the owner that they may need to invest in a cleaning service. The people who left before us had vomited in the bathroom and left it there. For the price that we paid and the condition we left the house in, there should have been some concession on the owner's part.

Plenty of room for our family of 5. The kids really enjoyed the lake (so did we). Reasonable driving distance to stores and beaches (Old Orchard, Wells and Ogunquit), quiet street with friendly neighbourhood. We highly recommand this cottage for a great family getaway.

Great Summer Get Away

We loved the cottage and the lake. The cabin is very roomy. The deck was a favorite spot and the site of most of our meals. We were blessed with sunny weather. We had all the conveniences one would want at a cottage: cable t.v., wi-fi, dishwasher, gas grill, and a great dock. The camp roads made for wonderful walks with our dog. The lake is quiet during the week, yet active enough to be interesting. The lake is small and well marked; it didn't take long to learn our way around. While some might find the small size limiting, it would be great for parents who want their children to be out boating but like to keep an eye out to be sure they're safe. We will definitely make a return visit next year. We highly recommend the cottage if you want a place to kick back and relax for a week. The Galarneaus

House is very nice and spacious, very easy to get to and very quiet and private,..the week was rainy so were unable to enjoy the deck overlooking the water as often as we would have liked,..the steps walking down to the dock became very slippery due to the rain...the lake was very organized for boaters...even though their was a large number of boats docked, we seemed to have the whole lake to ourselves at times,...residents on the lake are friendly and offer advice, very beutiful scenery,...
