Frustrating experience

October 3, 2009

I rented this place based on Internet info in the middle of the Summer. I went with my wife (8 months pregnant) and my 1 year old daughter. The day we arrived I felt very hot after unloading our lugage and started looking for the air conditioner. I was surprise to find out there was NO air conditioning (that is not disclosed in the website, but I think it should be at least for summer renters. We left earlier because of that and the owners decided to keep our security deposit. Also, entrance is in the second floor and uses a very steep stairwell, the first floor is humid, and the washer and dryer require you put quarters for them to work! Be ready to pay $250/month for the energy bill (probably much more late in the fall or during winter)...not a nice experience.
