Description of the Albuquerque vacation home rental
This is a charming, well-equipped house with loads of character and comfort. Newly installed refrigerated air conditioning and new heater with vents in every room. Located within walking distance of UNM, CNM, and Kirtland AFB. A quick bus ride will get you just about anywhere in town. Gibson is 3 blocks away and a 5 minute bus ride to Kirtland AFB or Sandia Labs. This house is a great place for visiting parents of UNM or CNM. The kitchen is fully equipped with microwave, oven, stove, dishwasher, and a full sized fridge and coffee maker. There's a dining room table that seats six, and the living room sofa and chair are excellent source of comfort. The bedrooms have comfortable king and queen size beds, and there's even room for a blow up mattress to accommodate another person (bring your own). The heating works well, and AC blows hard. Cable TV and WiFi make this an easy place to relax or work. A nice outdoor area in the back with a gas BBQ is excellent for a very evening Bar-Buquerque setting. Golf clubs and bicycles in the storage shed make for a fun time as well. Porta Del Sol Golf course is only 4 blocks down the road.

Area Information
Nob Hill is a vibrant district bursting with eclectic shops, fabulous dining, and variety of nightspots. Route 66 neon signs and architecture combined with predominantly locally-owned shops, galleries and restaurants make Nob Hill a hip and fashionable area located just east of the University of New Mexico. Old Town the Zoo and Bio Park are a short 15 min. bus ride away. Local Ski areas will open in mid December so book your holiday soon. I go up often and have room for riders to my fav sport Taos a 3 hour ride through some of the best mountain scenes in NM.

  • About:

My wife and I live in Albuquerque and enjoy the lovely wonderful weather here. We often tour our own state, via motorcycle, to camp, hike and raft down the Rio Grande River. During the winter months, we put away our bike and pull out our skis for a run down Sandia, Santa Fe or Taos Ski Resort....
