Located in an exclusive community on the unspoiled barrier island, this condo strikes the perfect balance between upscale luxury and carefree relaxation. For the seventh-consecutive year, Amelia Island is one of the top 10 U.S. island destinations and the number one Florida island destination in the Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards. This is not an investor property rented by a management company, this is our 2nd home. We think you’ll agree the difference is noticeable in the quality of furnishings and the care we take maintaining the unit and making it comfortable and inviting. This condo is a Prestige Property Winner.

Newly decorated with updated furnishings, fixtures and art, the tile floors and earth tones invoke the surrounding sand and dunes. Blues and greens from the ocean accent the pleasing color palette. This unit has all the luxuries and comforts of home. Floor-to-ceiling glass doors welcome you to your huge private 4th floor oceanfront balcony. Enjoy your morning coffee outside watching dolphins and a passing shrimp boat. Afternoon shade and sea breezes make the oceanfront balcony an inviting spot all day long. This floor plan has the only private balcony in Ocean Place.

There are two bedrooms and two full bathrooms in this spacious and comfortable condo. The master bedroom has a king size bed with a feather mattress topper and quality linens. The bedroom faces the ocean and opens to the private balcony. The second bedroom has a queen and a twin bed. Both bathrooms are clean and bright and the master bathroom has a double vanity with two sinks, a shower and garden tub for a relaxing soak.

The large kitchen is fully appointed with top of the line appliances, not cheap 'rental unit' equipment. There is a tile back splash and under-cabinet lighting that brightly illuminates the Corian solid surface counter tops. Everything is here for you to make a picnic lunch for the beach (including a picnic basket), or for a gourmet cook to prepare a fine meal. The kitchen opens across a breakfast bar to the dining room which boasts a large table and seating for six. Enjoy conversation or watch TV on the new 51' flat screen HDTV in the spacious living room. The seating is comfortable and the view of the waves unsurpassed.

The Ritz-Carlton property surrounds this condo. The hotel building is next door, just 100 footsteps away. Brad and Aimee's condo is amazing!

September 25, 2016

We just returned home from our week at 18 Ocean Place and we couldn't be happier with our stay. Brad and Aimee's condo is amazing! The views of the ocean (for miles in every direction) are spectacular and we enjoyed seeing the water through the large sliding doors across the front of the unit and spending time on the balcony. We got to enjoy a full moon shining on the water and even a Harvest Moon! There is a nice table and chairs on the balcony where we ate breakfast every morning. Even while in the master bath, as I dried my hair, I could see the ocean in the mirror, which just makes you happy! The condo is beautifully decorated (loved the battery powered candles!) with just the right amount of classy beach feel, and has everything you could possibly need for a wonderful stay. But Brad and Aimee take it a step further and have added extra, special touches, that you will rarely see in a rental. There was a bottle of wine waiting to greet us, beach towels, beach chairs, boogie boards (although we didn't try these out!), starter supplies for almost anything you could need, spices in the pantry, coffee filters, packets of sweetener, and my favorite- lots of books to read! The kitchen was well equipped with nice dishes and glass ware (unlike many rentals where you get a hodgepodge) and had everything you would need if you elected to cook in. In fact, there were all the various types of glasses for your cocktail of choice! Ocean Place is in a great location, with the Ritz on one side, and other nice looking condos, down the beach, on the other side. The buildings are well spaced and nothing feels crowded or too close. The grounds were clean and well kept and we loved seeing the turtles, who live in the sand dunes, as we took the suspended walkway to the beach. There are plenty of good restaurants close by, as well as a Harris Teeter grocery store, and it's just a short drive to the historic Fernandina Beach area where there are lots of cute shops and good restaurants. If you are looking for a place to stay, don't hesitate- you will love it here. We are so glad we found this place-thanks Brad and Aimme. We can't wait to go back!

Tranquil fun!
Early risers can step to the spacious balcony and see a red-gold sun come up from the ocean; a beach quiet and still vacant of footprints; enjoy the rhythm of waves meeting the cool sand; and, hear various birds practicing their calls - a wonderful way to start the day. Then, step back into this comfortable 4th floor condo for fresh coffee and a bagel, and a chat with family or friends before going to the beach, maybe to search for shark teeth or shells, or just wade. We did these things and much more. Amelia Island has great places to visit and dine. This condo is well equipped and hospitably furnished. We greatly enjoyed our visit. There is No Doubt we Will Return.

Fantastic
Our family of four had a wonderful time. We've stayed at dozens of beachfront places (Atlantic & Gulf) over the years and this place is the best. Location, size, balcony, quiet beach, comfortable, clean, well-stocked, it was everything we hoped for. And Brad was very helpful, he gave us a head's up about the Ritz doing fireworks one night and the view from the balcony was phenomenal. Very happy, would stay again.

The condo was great! My husband and I could not think of a better place on the beach that we have stayed at. The view was amazing from the balcony so we sat there in the mornings to enjoy the sunrise and in the evening to enjoy the breeze and great view. The master bedroom had this same view so we loved waking up to the sunrise we could see from our bed. The beach was quiet and not overcrowded like some places we have been, so we could actually enjoy sitting and relaxing. Aimee and Brad were very attentive to all of our needs and always very quickly responded to emails with my questions, made recommendations for places to eat and even left a bottle of welcoming wine for us to enjoy. They have the condo well stocked in the kitchen and bathrooms with pretty much everything you would need. They have put a lot of thought into making sure we would enjoy our trip. The beach closet had plenty of chairs and toys and we did not even have to use our beach towels we brought since they had enough already there. The boardwalk down to the beach was new and made it easy to access the beach. The condo was right next to the Ritz Carlton so was super convenient for my conference I had there. I would not have any hesitancy at all in recommending this condo to anyone . You would have a great relaxing time in a beautiful setting.

Best beach condo!!
18 Ocean Place was the best beach condo we've stayed in - extremely well stocked from the kitchen to the beach toy closet and wonderful decor. Fantastic balcony views and we loved the convenience to the Ritz and the uncrowded pools and beach. Aimee and Brad are great - very responsive and wonderful attention to detail. We will be back again next year! Thanks for a great vacation!

Very special.
It was just what we were looking for. A great view and sound of the ocean, very cozy and relaxing. It was hard to come back to Tennessee. So many restaurants to go to including walking to the Ritz Carlton. Thank you for sharing your beautiful place!

Spring break
Our family of four enjoyed our stay very much. It has a great view of the ocean and the location on the beach is perfect. We enjoyed the beach very much and going to Amelia Island's historic downtown for dinner. I would recommend this condo but potential renters should know that the pool is not heated. Unfortunately in April the pool was too cold for swimming which was disappointing to the kids.

Our second stay

Our second stay was as great as the first stay last year. We had friends staying in the same complex. When they came over, they said " your place is a lot nicer than ours". If you are looking for "a lot nicer", this is the condo for you. You will not be disappointed.

Excellent Location - Great Accommodations

We really enjoyed Spring Break on Amelia Island and the location of this condo. It's great to have a well equipped kitchen, nearby grocery store, beach chairs/toys/towels and a fabulous view! The owners were wonderful and instructions were clearly communicated. Rooms and bedding were very clean. We traveled as a family with my mother along, so having 2 bedrooms with access to the nearby Ritz Carlton was perfect for us. Hopefully we can return next year!

We had the best week of relaxation, with beautiful views and the best accommodations. From booking this rental to arriving at the condo with a warm thoughtful host gift, personally signed from Brad and Aimee, we knew we had made the best selection for our much needed time away from the busy real world. Brad and Aimee have created the perfect beach getaway, you feel like you are at your home away from home. They have thought of everything to make your time special and uncomplicated. We have used VBRO for several years this was by far one of the best experiences from start to finish, we will return and will share this location with our friends and family. Thank you to your family for sharing your home so others can also enjoy the wonderful Amelia Island

Fantastic holiday at this beautiful condo. From the views to the amenities a 5 star rating is in order here. The owners have thought of everything to make a stay here comfortable and enjoyable. Providing a high top table and chairs on the balcony overlooking the ocean is worth a special mention although this is just one of the many items that made our stay an enjoyable one. A great value, we would highly recommend this if looking for a vacation to remember.

Spectacular getaway
This was our first experience with a vacation rental so the strong reviews and abundance of info was very important to us. The condo exceeded our expectations and really was everything we hoped for! The condo is well maintained, clean and truly "as advertised". The view is second to none. There are so many extras and upgrades that are not usually found in a rental. We really enjoyed our first visit to Amelia Island and our first experience with a vacation rental. We can't wait to go back to Ocean Place.

Fabulous getaway!
A weekend away for a work conference turned into a fabulous getaway on Amelia Island! The proximity of Brad & Aimee's condo to the Ritz was amazing as that is where our conference was held. A two minute walk and we had arrived. Not only was the condo beautiful, with a fabulous balcony & view of the ocean, but the communication that Brad & Aimee maintained prior to & throughout our stay was something that I'm not sure we would have found with another vacation rental. We would thoroughly recommend this wonderful home to anyone who is looking for a relaxing, well-maintained, place to stay.

A Great Time in Amelia Island!!!
My family ( Dad, Mom and 13 year old daughter) thoroughly enjoyed Amelia Island and of course this condo. The beach is beautiful and the two swimming pools in this complex are very convenient and well maintained. We cannot say enough good things about this condo! It is very tastefully decorated, clean and just generally well maintained. We spent plenty of time relaxing and having breakfast on the balcony which has spectacular views of the ocean and dunes. The kitchen is well equipped for those who like to cook. The owners, Brad and Aimee, were very gracious in all of our communications and even took the time to call us on our first day at the condo to make sure that everything was to our liking. We look forward to renting this condo again and very highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quality vacation rental!

Great Accommodation & Great Trip!!
Our family (Mom, Dad, 11 year old son, 9 and 7 year old daughters) had a great trip to Amelia Island. The island and beach were as good as advertised! The condo was fantastic (clean, nicely decorated, well-stocked with everything you need) and is in a perfect location. The view from the balcony and master bedroom were incredible! Brad and Aimee (condo owners) are super-friendly and really go out of the way to ensure their guests are equipped to have a great time! We highly recommend Amelia Island and renting this condo!!!

The condo is very well appointed with up to date appliances, plenty of beach and bath towels, and great quality beach chairs and beach umbrella. We had family staying in other condos in the same building and I can easily say this condo was the best!

Great Summer beach vacation
We had a great time and everyone kept saying "this is the most well-stocked condo." So thanks for all the dishes, pans, and blenders as well as the beach chairs and umbrellas! The location (right on the beach) was perfect, and the setup worked perfectly as we used the walk-in closet for our 8 month old to sleep at night (and other guests stayed in the second bedroom with its own bath). We definitely are thinking of returning (maybe a little later in the year so it's not quite as hot). Don't miss out on the fact that the nice leather sofas can recline!! Brad and Aimee were always quickly responsive - even calling someone to clear up an issue immediately after we communicated it to them. You couldn't ask for better hosts!

Great location and everything you need
My family, parents, husband, and 20 mo. old daughter stayed in this condo during my sisters wedding week. Having traveled by plane it was nice to have access to a beach umbrella, great beach chairs, towels, and plenty of beach toys. The condo had everything we needed in the kitchen and the master bedroom bed was very comforable. We were able to sleep separate from our little one by placing her pack and play in the master closet which was very helpful for us all to sleep. Beach is close (close by Amelia standards as you have to walk a little way over the board walk and dunes). Pool nice and never too crowded. We enjoyed the balcony which was a great shaded spot during the afternoon sun and allowed us to watch the turtles on the dunes below and listen to the ocean waves.

Perfect vacation accommodations
We could not have been more pleased with this condo. The view was great and the nice thing, at the time of year we were there, is the balcony was shady almost all day. We ate every evening meal on the balcony in comfort. The kitchen was the most well equipped of any condo we have rented. We didn't need to bring half the stuff we did. The kitchen appliances, TV's, and sound systems were state of the art. Another nice feature was the lockable closet outside the front door for beach items, coolers, etc. We will certainly be back. If you like to go First Class, this is the condo for you.

Best Condo - by far in 30 years!
Our family had the best time staying at Brad and Aimee’s Condo it’s by far the best condo we have stayed out in 30 plus years of going to the beach. The owners go above and beyond and make everything so easy and stayed in constant communication to insure our stay was pleasant. I can honestly say they talk the talk and walk the walk, un-like many other vacation rentals.

Additionally they provide a full line of beach gear, towels, and toys for familes with children to include chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, toys, etc.

We definitely are looking forward to another stay here in the future!

Lastly, Brad told my daughter the weather would be hot & steamy and he was absolutely correct, but the beach and pool brought much relief to that.

Everything you want and need...including the Kitchen Sink!
Our family of five had the pleasure of spending a week at this lovely condo. Unlike many vacation rentals this condo was everything as advertised. From the fully stocked kitchen, including a Keurig, for you coffee drinkers, to the well appointed furnishings, the amenities were first rate from the pool, to the beach and let's not forget the Ritz and its spa which my wife took full advantage of. As an added plus, Brad and Aimee also provide a full compliment of beach gear and toys for those of you with children to include chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, toys, etc. so you can leave those items at home.

Lastly, Brad and Aimee were a pleasure to deal with from the reservation process to, checking-in with us several times during our stay to make sure everything was meeting our expectations.

We definitely are looking forward to another stay here in the future!

A wonderful Trip
Hi - we had a wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed your condo. We loved Amelia Island and plan on making more trips there. We were very impressed with the quality of the condo and the tastefulness of the furnishings. Having stayed at multiple vacation homes I would rate yours as one of the best for how easy the whole setup was, from the security system to the kitchen setup. The views from the deck were priceless.

WONDERFUL CONDO!!
We have been regulars at the Amelia Island Ritz for years. Since the renovations completed the hotels prices keep getting higher fro suites so I started looking for other options. I found this AMAZING condo right next door to the Ritz. We could not have been happier with the location as all the Ritz amenities we love are a short walk away on the beautiful path through the Ritz convention center court yard. One nice thing we found that I had not read about is there are 2 luggage carts in the stairwells of each building to help bring up the luggage, a big help! So look for those when you arrive, you may have to go to building 2 as we did on departure day since both building 1 carts were in use. The condo is very light, airy and very nicely decorated with higher end appliances and furnishings just like our home so it truly felt like a home away from home for us! The Keurig is located in the closet and is a Mini so bring bottled water with you or hit the Harris Teeter grocery a mile down the road. The water on the island has a sulfur taste that I don't like but we deal with that at St. George Island as well. Brad & Aimee were in constant contact with us to assure everything was in order and left a lovely bottle of wine on arrival. The reclining couches and big screen TV were very nice and comfortable, there are over a 1000 channels! The balcony is large and right on the beach, can't ask for better views. My only wish there would be a couple loungers rather than adirondack chairs so I could lay back with my feet kicked up and enjoy all that beauty! The Ritz no longer does room service to the condo's which was not a problem but just an FYI it has been discontinued. The bed was super comfortable. I could go on and on about how nice our trip was! We were sad to leave this wonderful place and can't wait to go back! A great deal and wonderful location that can't be beat!

Nice quick get away
I decided on this place specifically based on the location and the reviews. The place was beautiful and there is nothing like waking up and having your coffee overlooking the ocean. This is a quick 2 hour flight from NYC and we needed some warmth. The owners were very responsive and followed up with us to ensure all was good. All was good. I would recommend this place 100% We are already thinking about next year
Thank You!!!

Relaxing stay - home away from home
My husband, infant daughter and I just returned from a wonderful stay at this property. The owners thought of everything - from beach toys and other must-haves for small children, to providing a starter kit of must-haves (yes, even including wine!). We enjoyed the time at our home away from home, and were discussing when we could return for a longer trip before we even left. Also, the owners were super responsive to all of my questions and needs as we planned our trip.

Note: We selected this property because of its proximity to the Ritz, because we were in town for a wedding. The condo is literally steps from the Ritz property, and traveling between the properties was as easy as could be.

Summer vacation
My wife and I made our first trip to Amelia Is this May and we were very glad we chose this property. It was complete with all that is needed for a wonderful week at the beach. Great view of the beach, the dunes directly below are full of turtles and other wildlife and the beach at low tide is huge. Would definitely recommend this place.

50th Anniversary stay
We chose Amelia Island to be near family during this special celebration time in our lives. The unit was perfect for us, near good restaurants and fun shopping, and we really felt safe there. The weather did not always cooperate, but we enjoyed the balcony and view even on some chilly, wet March days. I would highly recommend this unit. The owners are great to work with, I can't think of a thing I would change.

Score!
My husband and I retired last year and are on a mission to find a place to land to get out of the snow and ice in Northern Michigan. This was our 4th road trip and I can tell you the hardest part of the journey is having to stay in places that don't offer the amenities of home. My husband loves his big screen, HDTV with HD programming and DVR and we both love to recline while watching it. This and the fact that is was right on the ocean, were the main reasons why we chose to rent this condo. And then there was so much more! A TV in the bedroom is important to me and this condo had one in both. The master bed was very comfy and there was lots of storage, even a walk-closet. Plugs were accessible for tech toys. It was great to have 2 sinks in the master bath and a good shower. It was nice finding a lighted, magnifying (maybe 8X or more) make up mirror under the sink. In-laws stayed two nights in the 2nd bedroom which is off the kitchen and set up privately with its own bathroom. They reported the twin and queen beds were comfortable. There's also a washer & dryer in this area and both worked great. Six beach towels are stored on the rack above the washer. As others have said, the kitchen was well stocked with utensils, dishes and glassware, along with some staples like sugar, spices and condiments in the pantry which came in handy. There are two coffee makers: a Cuisinart which can also use whole beans and a Keurig (yay!) It was nice to have mug-sized coffee cups too but there was also the "tea cup and saucer" variety. And the backsplash is gorgeous! The decor overall was a nice balance between beach comfort and luxury. Coming off the heels of the Polar Vortex, the weather was cool so we didn't use the pool but we did walk on the big, beautiful, uncrowded beach which was just a short walk away. It was nice to see the beauty from the balcony sitting at a bar height table which provided an unobstructed view. Unfortunately, we didn't see any marine life but we were treated to a fireworks display, courtesy of the Ritz. We inquired earlier when we saw it being set up and were told it was just because a group had requested it. There were several different games in the drawers in the living room and the binder on the coffee table was full of good information and local dining menus. We also appreciated the remote controlled candles and the "open sesame" waste can in the kitchen. You will not be disappointed if you rent this condo.

We had a fabulous stay at your condo over Thanksgiving. What a perfect location…steps to the beautiful beach , close to Fernandina and of course the Ritz. The condo is sooo comfortable and the fully stocked kitchen was a bonus! We were able to witness fireworks from the balcony and observe the beautiful Christmas tree lighting at the Ritz. Where Memories are Made!
Thank you for sharing your home with us. It was the perfect location for making memories with my fiancee, sister and cousins while we celebrated my brother's wedding weekend. Now I understand why he wanted to get married here, it's truly gorgeous. Growing up on Cape Cod I never thought there could be another place that compared, but Amelia Island has won me over and I look forward to our next visit. Thank you for making your condo feel so homey with the bottle of wine, the basket of essentials, and to your knack for interior decorating. We will never forget 18 Ocean Place. 5 stars!

Beautiful Oceanfront Condo
The is a beautiful unit located in Ocean Place which is next door to the fabulous Ritz-Carlton. Our family loved this 2 bedroom condo that was gorgeously decorated and well-maintained! Both the master and guest room were extremely comfortable and perfect for a family of 5. The view is just breathtaking of the ocean and the Ritz - what more could one ask for while at the beach! I highly recommend this unit and the owners were wonderful to work and extremely accommodating in regard to the rental.

This was our first time visiting Amelia Island and we could not have asked for a more pleasant experience! The condo was great, bed was super comfortable and too many amenities to list. We were surprised by a delightful fire works show at the Ritz, next door on our first evening there. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be coming back and staying in this condo again! Island Paradise
We just returned from an exceptional week on Amelia Island! This condo and its location are second to none! We have spent 20 plus years vacationing in Florida (Sanibel Island, Naples, and Destin), nothing compares to 18 Ocean Place. Brad and Aimee have done an incredible job with their beach condo...they have taken care of every little detail. Sharing the grounds and amenities of the Ritz Carlton only add to this 5 star vacation experience. This condo is even better than promised! It looks great on line, but even more spectacular in person! We can't wait for next years fall break at 18 Ocean Place!!!

Wonderful location!
This was our first time staying at Ocean Place and we certainly were not disappointed! The unit was clean and very well-stocked, and comfortable for 4 adults and 1 child. The balcony is large and has great views of the beautiful Atlantic and beach. The kitchen had everything you need for a week-long stay. We particularly enjoyed the personal touches of the condo owners -- from a welcome bottle of wine to a phone call when we got there to make sure everything was up to par. The only downside in our eyes was the day of departure procedure. We were asked to strip our beds, start a load of laundry, start the dishwasher, and take out all of the trash. That was in addition to the cleaning fee. It was a bit annoying to end a relaxing vacation doing the chores we had to do once we got home. But we still enjoyed our stay and will most definitely go back!!

The condo was beautiful and Brad checked in on us a couple times making sure everything was ok during our stay. Brad also returned phone calls and emails very quickly. He answered all our questions before we even booked. This is the best place we have ever stayed in 22 plus years. The pictures are very accurate. The Ritz spa was spectacular as well. Relaxing Retreat! Just what the doctors ordered.....
We so enjoyed ourselves during our vacation at 18 Ocean Place. We normally stay at the Ritz when on the Island, but decided to try something new this year. It's condo provided us with the perfect retreat. The owners are thoughtful and very professional. Check in was seamless and very easy. The condo was very clean and well decorated. No cheesy beachy chic here. All required amenities and then some have been provided by the owners.

We have a young son and this condo provided more than enough space for us to spread out and truly relax. We live very busy lives and it was such a luxury to take out time and eat a nice breakfast on the patio every morning with one of the best views on the island. The neighbors were all very quiet and friendly during our stay. We will definitely try to make it back sooner rather than later.

In love with Amelia
Awesome, Awesome, Awesome...We've stayed at the Ritz the previous three years, but as the boys got older we needed a bit more space. Boy did we get. The condo had plenty of space to spread out. We had Wifi for the kids iPads, and three televisions. The kitchen was set up nicely. We cooked in everyday for breakfast and lunch and then hit the historic downtown for dinner. It was the best vacation we've ever had. We stayed 5 of our 7 nights. (Bad Idea) DO ALL 7!!! Totally could have done another two nights. (Thats my fault. Thought my kids would work my nerves. LOL) They will see us again. No doubt...

2 weeks of Pure Heaven!
Just returned home from a wonderful two weeks in this condo!! We have previously vacationed in Hilton Head for the past 12 years and feel like we wasted all those years! Amelia Island is so restful and beautiful. Brad and Aimee have thought of everything to make your vacation the best! I was so nervous about trying someplace new, but they were so helpful in answering all my questions. Check- in was a breeze. Once we arrived there were so many wonderful surprises and an unexpected welcome gift! Extremely clean condo and complex! Beds were very comfortable. The balcony was so large and we enjoyed the ocean view every morning. The view over the dunes allowed us to watch bunnies, gopher turtles, dolphins, and shrimp boats every morning with our coffee. The bike paths through the living oaks are unmatched!! Our girls rode someplace new everyday. They became regulars at the Gourmet Gourmet Café just a short distance away. We walked, ran, or biked the entire beach from one end to the other and without a doubt this stretch of beach is the best!!! Not overly crowded at all, full of wonderful waves and shells, a perfect pitch to the shoreline entering into the surf (not steep like in some areas), and we found over 50 sharks teeth! So much fun! Restaurants in the area are very good and not commercialized like in HH. If you want to stay in and fix dinner, this condo has everything you need too! They even included quality beach chairs, boogie boards, umbrellas, beach toys, etc...I definitely over-packed! I highly recommend this property. Thank you both for allowing us to stay in your paradise!! It was just what we needed! Looking forward to returning. May you all have a blessed year!

Beautiful Condo, great hosts
We had an amazing time staying at this condo. It is beautifully decorated, clean and modern. In addition, the owners are amazing hosts who contact you throughout (before and even after you have arrived) to make sure everything is ok and to your liking. It was my parent's 50th anniversary and we booked a condo in the same complex for them. Excellent set up for a larger family gathering. The pools are great for kids and the beach is right nearby. You can walk to the Ritz which to enjoy the amazing spa and restaurants. Grocery store and other shopping in close proximity. Would definitely stay here again!

Spring Get-Away 2013
We enjoyed every minute of our trip to Amelia Island from the drive down through the overhanging trees to the beautiful views of the ocean and beach from the expansive windows of the condo. The owners have taken great care of their home, and it is evidenced by the personal touches throughout the condo. I am a picky customer because of previous bad experiences in renting condos. But this place exceeded our expectations, and that is what made our trip worth the time and effort to go there. Aimee and Brad were very responsive and assisted us prior to and after our arrival. The condo pictures and description of the area were accurate. We enjoyed visiting the historical downtown of Fernandina Beach and shopping along the charming streets. We also spent time at Fort Clinch State Park and especially enjoyed going through the Fort. We were so busy that the time to come home came all too quickly. Thanks Aimee and Brad for everything!

Beautiful condo in perfect beachfront location
My husband and I just returned home from a week at this condo. It is a beautifully appointed condo and the owners were extremely helpful with information available on what to do, where to eat, etc. Located next to the Ritz Carlton-so you know if the beach is good enough for the Ritz it is going to be great and it was. I would recommend the Spa (at the Ritz) as it is amazing and so convenient. The owners are truly focused on having a beautiful second home. The Ritz is next door and the feel of this condo is that of Ritz appeal. The kitchen is top drawer, the master bedroom is exquisite. The balcony is spacious and you have great views from the living room, master bedroom and of course the balcony. upon arriving, we found the unit to be very clean and accurately described on the web. Immaculate Beachfront Condo Exceeds High Expectations
My wife and I spent a long weekend in this beautiful condo, and we cannot stop talking about how nice it was! Beautiful, immaculate, warm, and inviting are just a few words that I would use to describe this property. In addition to being tastefully decorated, the condo had very comfortable furniture and a wonderful view of the ocean. The unit was equipped with everything that we could possibly need, including a basket filled with various items such as shampoo, antacids, dental floss, etc. The only thing that the condo lacked was a chef to prepare food for us! Fortunately, Amelia Island is home to many fine restaurants (including our favorite, Espana), so even this was not a problem. The owners were most helpful in answering our questions, and they provided a large 3-ring binder filled with useful information on dining, golf, and various activities on Amelia Island. We will definitely plan a return visit!

Beautiful condo, wonderful vacation
Our visit to Amelia Island was perfect, thanks to our outstanding accommodations at 18 Ocean Place. This condo is beautiful - from the furnishings and decorating to the well equipped gourmet kitchen to the attention to detail throughout. We slept well in the master bedroom’s very comfortable king bed.

The balcony is a great place to enjoy the spectacular ocean view. I discovered being on the beautiful beach even in January is an amazing experience. I ran the beach every morning, and in addition to the walkers and those strolling I’m sure we all experienced something special watching the shore birds, collecting sea shells, and listening to the sound of the ocean. Any time of the day, the seashore is always relaxing and enjoyable.

Amelia Island also has many wonderful restaurants and activities. I plan to return to this island many more times and definitely stay at 18 Ocean Place.

WOW!! We are having a great time here at your fabulous beach house. Being directly across from mom's house is brilliant for us. Your accommodations and kind consideration of having essentials here are well appreciated. Fabulous stay
We recently returned from a 3 day stay at this wonderful condo. We initially booked the condo because the Ritz Carlton was sold out for a conference that I was attending there. By the end of the weekend, however, the entire family agreed that this condo was a much better choice for us. Our kids and mother-in-law had plenty of space to relax during the day. The balcony was expansive in size and had a wonderful view of the beach. We were directly adjacent to the Ritz Carlton so that walking to the conference, restaurants, etc was done with ease. The property was immaculately maintained, beautiful decorated and comfortable to stay in.
The most important part of this, though, was the care that was provided by Amy and Brad. The owners of this condo went out of their way to make sure that we had everything we needed. They were prompt with every question or request that we had. I have rented multiple homes/condos in multiple cities, but I have never had personal service equal to the level of these owners. Great job, Brad and Aimee! We highly recommend this condo and look forward to staying again in the near future.

Great Stay
We stayed at 18 Ocean Place with our son and his family. It was a wonderful place for the children and adults. The view is breathtaking. The deck is out of the sun most of the day, so it is a wonderful place to read and enjoy the view. Inside was very comfortable and the kitchen had just what I needed to make Grandma's specialties. We took a little time to enjoy a couple of the restaurants next door at the Ritz. We will certainly come back for another relaxing time with family.
