Description from owner

Wonderful newer home on the 12th green. Sit on the deck to watch the golfers come through the green, and then tee off the signature 13th next door. 3 bedrooms; 3 full baths. Murphys is only 10 min away from here.

Very Pet Friendly. We have the only fenced in grass yard of all the rentals in GHC. We have two gates on the deck should you want to keep the dogs on the deck. So far, we've hosted numerous dogs, 2 cats and a bird!

Lots to do in Calaveras County, including 3 caves to tour, New Melones Reservoir for boating and jet skiing, Bear Valley Music Festival in late summer and skiing in the winter, hiking, rafting, biking trailsthere are endless relaxing or energizing activities.

Two Master Bedrooms, one with a King bed and the other with a Queen bed. Both have 2 sink vanity bathrooms with soaking tub and separate shower. Third bedroom room is an office where we can set up a queen Aerobed. It has its own full bathroom as well.

Huge kitchen with all the amenities necessary for your meals and snacks. Formal dining room; great room, kitchen table in nook.

Patio set and gas BBQ on the deck. Views of New Melones Lake from upstairs Master Bedroom. Fenced in yard for your dog, as long as it doesn't disturb the golfers coming through the hole.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful Greenhorn Creek home during the holiday season. The views of the golf course were gorgeous. There was plenty of space for our 3 children to play indoors and out, and the location was perfect for day trips to Columbia, Moaning Caverns, Arnold. The owners even provided a chest of toys for our kids to play with! We had a lovely time and highly recommend it.

We enjoyed staying in this absolutely beautiful home! We were visiting the area for my daughter's wedding. This home is very clean and comfortable. Barbara was very easy to work with. We enjoyed the views, watching the golfers, listening to the birds and relaxing! We would highly recommend this home for anyone looking for a warm and comfortable place to stay. We enjoyed the local restaurants. There are many local activities, though we didn't visit them due to being in a wedding party. We will definitely return!

We stayed in Barbara's home for 3 nights with our 8 and 10 year old children who are learning about the Gold Rush. A bonus was that we were also able to bring our 9 month old labrador retriever. Barbara's home is newer, beautifully decorated, clean, fully furnished and equipped for all of our needs. We truly felt like we were at home. The bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen were fully stocked and outfitted for our comfort and we were extremely pleased with this house. The neighborhood is nice and quiet and we enjoyed walking our dog in this area. There's even a park for both kids and pets. Barbara really put thought into what makes a home comfortable that I even took some decorating tips home for our own house in the Bay Area! We saw all the sights Barbara recommended--Columbia, Murphys, Moaning Caverns, New Melones, Jamestown, Big Trees, Arnold and Angels Camp. We learned a lot about the 1800s and the Gold Rush and had a lot of adventures zip-lining, hiking, panning for gold, eating, exploring caverns and shopping. We all had a wonderful time and my kids didn't want to leave the house. We will definitely return!

My wife and I spent 2 weeks in this lovely home and enjoyed it a great deal. A charming bright , up to date home with a real personal touch. Barbara was a most gracious host. The master bedroom is up stairs and is very comfortable along with a large bathroom. Lovely plants and flowers everywhere. The downstairs bedroom is equally comfortable. No complaints or reservations at all. We would highly recommend this home
