Near the Lecco and Como Lake, lies a hidden corner of paradise: Lake Annone, the most beautiful and largest lake in Brianza. In the past, the banks of this Lake hosted summer homes that belonged to the Lombard nobles who settled in enchanting landscapes and enjoyed the surrounding nature and its unique tranquility. Villa Annone was built in the 19th century. Over time, ancient and noble families settled here as a summer residence. Since 1999, the new owners brought the villa back to its former glory by restoring it with original materials and furnishings.

Villa Annone is located in the picturesque scenery of Lake Annone, in a natural basin surrounded by the Lecco mountains, set at the foot of the Resegone and Grigna. It is a large complex composed of several elements, all of which is harmoniously integrated into its natural surroundings: the manor house, the former stable with the glasshouse, the park, the swimming pool.

Villa Annone is in a sober and prestigious location, for those who enjoy elegance and discretion, natural beauty, a timeless scenario with typical lake tints and colored shades. The villa is a rare example of elegant 19th century building that is situated on the lake, with only alarge neat lawn that separates it from the water. A huge 19th century park protects the privacy of the home, immersed in greenery and surrounded by centenary plants and foliage. The entire complex offers a great atmosphere, where one can discover fascinating scenes on every corner, highlighted by a beautiful natural light: each instance, every season is unique and non-repeatable, thanks to the natural harmony in which it lies.

The 3-story villa disposes of 9 large bedrooms, 8 bathrooms and can accommodate up to 22 people.

A long avenue, surrounded by the park’s luxurious vegetation, takes you from the gate to the villa: the villa, one of the few in the Lake area that sits directly on the lake shore, shows a distinct architecture and a linear façade. The villa’s interior design is an unfolding scenario of connected rooms, that, on one side, are dominated by the presence of the lake and, on the other side, by the views of the park, thus creating an image of a green and blue painting. Meanwhile, the furnishing provides the interiors with elegance and attention to detail.

At the ground level, a large traditional kitchen is connected to the dining room, which, along with the subsequent large living room, enjoys a complete view of the lake and the stunning surrounding landscape through outsized windows. A great original 17th century fireplace lies in the living room that leads to the ‘boiserie’. The upper floors are accessed by a wooden staircase that leads to the bedrooms, all furnished with tailor made fittings. On the last floor, there is a fully equipped playroom, including a billiard pool, foosball and a ping pong table.

On the outside, a solitary cypress overlooks the villa giving it a unique look from the lake. Alongside the main façade that is exposed towards the lake, there is small mooring (a typical Italian style ‘darsena’) that enhances the beauty of the villa.

The huge park – more than 6 hectares - creates a fairy-tale atmosphere. It is enchanting as it forms a natural stage for every type of event. Thanks to a very meticulous care, its former glory was given back to the oaks, magnolias, cedars of Lebanon, beeches, taxodium, apple trees and pears, figs... In every season the changing colors of these ancient trees captivate the spectators. In spring and autumn the park offers its most charming appearance.

The park reveals scattered corners of rare beauty: a pond surrounded by weeping willows and a dense thicket, a fifty year-old rose gard
