Beautiful water front home in a quite cove. Includes paddle boat and kayak. Wake up to coffee on the dock or dinner on the deck overlooking the water while listening to the lake's resident loons. Enjoy beautiful sunsets lakeside. Private sandy beach, private dock. Plenty of room for your boat or watercraft. Includes fire pit, lawn chairs, three decks. Main deck has table seating for six, gas grill & adirondack chairs for enjoying the view. Lower deck is shaded with rocking chairs for watching the sunsets. Upper deck attached to master bedroom, great for reading or napping. Inside the home is three bedrooms, one master loft with queen bed & lots of extra room for reading & relaxing. Half bath attached to the master bedroom. One bunk room with three twin beds and TV. One downstairs bedroom with full size bed in private bedroom area. Finished basement with two pull out couches, opens to lower deck. Kitchen is small, has refrigerator, coffee pot, stove/oven, microwave, toaster oven, dishes, pots, pans, and spices. No dish washer. Main bath has shower/tub. Dining room,open living room with TV VCR/DVD player, internet, games & rocking chair. Paddle fans throughout home.Shared access road down to private parking area. This area has great fishing right off of the dock or lawn area. The property is located in a "no wake zone," great for safe paddle boating, fishing, swimming or floating on the water. Beach has a gradual slope for safe access to water, with a good area to play in the sand or sunbathe.

About the area

Franklin Pierce lake is approximately 520 acres and is part of the Monadnock Region, also known as the Jackman Reservoir. The lake is split between both Antrim and Hillsborough,NH. The lake features a pubic boat launch, as well as a public beach and picnic area. The lake is listed as a fantastic warm water fishery with both rainbow and brown trout stocked. Small mouth bass, pickerel, horned pout, white perch, northern pike and bluegill are native to the lake. Hillsborough is famous for boasting the homestead of Franklin Pierce, 14th President of the United States. This historic home is open for public tours. Within Antrim and Hillsborough are many antique shops, restaurants, and small stores to visit. Thirty minutes from Antrim is the quaint, popular town of Keene. With it's many specialty shops, restaurants, and entertainment, Keene is a popular day-trip destination. Also nearby is Mt. Monadnock, one of the most popular hiking mountains in New Hampshire. Activities on or within minutes of the lake include; water skiing, tubing, golfing, fly fishing, fresh water fishing, hiking, mountain climbing, hunting, sailing, boating, horseback riding, and spectacular autumn foliage.
