We scheduled this trip last minute as a surprise for my husband's birthday. Mrs. Rita was great helping us get in last minute. Our family loved the entire weekend! The deck over the river was our favorite part. It was such a peaceful, media free weekend. We loved getting away from it all. Can't wait to go back!

Owner's reply:

Thank you for choosing our cabin as a weekend getaway. We look forwards to having you back again.

I will absolutely return! The Hortons were so accommodating and friendly. We needed time alone without all the hustle bustle of most vacations but still have an enjoyable time. The babbling river, the birds, the rockers on the balcony....I could go on and on! You have all the amenities of home without the time clock. Everyone should go at least once!

Owner's reply:

So glad you had a good relaxing vacation. It is so quiet and peaceful there by the river. Thank you for visiting.

The photos do not do this property justice! It's a cozy cabin, rustic in ways but with the amenities we needed! But we spent the majority of our time at the outside shelter! It's right next to the river and also had all the amenities we needed. Bring charcoal the gas grill doesn't work that well, but there is a full outdoor kitchen with refrigerator, ice bin, grill, and a little counter space. There is plenty of room under the shelter to play corn hole, or other games plus more deck room not under the shelter! There is plenty of seating including a patio table and lounge chairs. There is also a picnic table and fire pit right next to the river. We had fun roasting marshmallows! And ate all of our meals except breakfast at the outdoor shelter. It was nice having dish TV to watch the news in the morning and to watch at night when everyone was settling down. The property is magnificently beautiful and quiet! I got up early every morning and had my coffe by the river. All you can hear is a babbling river and birds. I loved it, it was wonderful! I will definitely consider going back!

Owner's reply:

Thanks for a positive review. I will be checking out the gas grill to see what the issue is and replace if necessary. We want our visitors to feel at home and be able to utilize the facility without issues. Thanks for visiting our cabin and glad that you enjoyed your stay. Looking forwards to another opportunity next year.
