“A little bit of heaven”

Reviewed 30 Nov 2016

This was our second stay at the Farmhouse. We stayed last November as well. Both times it was my husband, myself as well as our grown kids, with their very young children. We all loved it. The setting is beautiful, peaceful. Farmhouse is very cozy, all the comforts of home. Don't miss this little gem!

Owner's reply: Thanks Terry and family for staying at The Farmhouse again. We appreciate your return business and hope to see you next year.

“overnight stay”

Thank you Darlene for the use of your lovely farmhouse. We were going to attend a fiddle auction event in Mt Airy, as well as drive throughout the Blueridge Parkway, so your place was great for an overnight stay. Thank you again.

Owner's reply: Thanks for staying at The Farmhouse. We do hope you stay with us again. Darlene & LeRoy

“Absolutely Wonderful”

Reviewed 28 Sep 2015

We enjoyed our stay at the Farm. Darlene and Leroy were wonderful. My girls so enjoyed the two cows (Mandi and her friend). They were so much fun to watch. The spot is very secluded and a perfect country get away. I would recommend this to anybody that wants a nice, relaxing place to stay. We made plans to attend Mayberry Days in Mount Airey, and it was only about a 20 minute drive. So worth it and we highly recommend it. Thank you again for a wonderful mini vacation for our family.

Owner's reply: Donna we so enjoyed meeting you and your family. Glad that you all enjoyed your vacation and thanks for leaving The Farmhouse so tidy. We do hope you will come and visit again. Thanks, Darlene and LeRoy

“Awesome Place”

Reviewed 11 Sep 2015

Looking for a quiet serene place to stay this is it. We have stayed here 3 times in the last year and a half and we love it. The house and yard are always clean and well kept. Great place to relax just sit outside and listen to the river flowing and might even see some wildlife here and there. Great ride up Kibbler Valley road too. The renters are awesome sweet people. Not far from Stuart Va they have a nice Walmart and grocery store if you plan to stay in and cook, Meadows of the Dan, Mt Airy, NC and Hillsville. I think this place would be beautiful in the fall. We took my mother in law (85 yrs old) in June and she loved it. There are some great little restaurants nearby that are great too or you can cook there and relax. Looking forward to when we can get away and stay again.

Owner's reply: Thanks Jackie for you kind words about our Farmhouse. We love having you and your family come and visit. We always have some great laughs. We really appreciate how nice you leave our place. Thanks, Darlene
