Family trip to Asheville

August 16, 2016

The townhouse was perfect for our mini vacation to Asheville. The house was beautiful and very clean. It was centrally located with easy access to I-26 which made it easy to drive into downtown Asheville, drive to the Blue Ridge Parkway and our trip to the Biltmore house.

Owner's reply:

Thank you Bruce! We would love to have you and your family back.

Owner Supplied Testimonials

(September 8 - 11)
They left us a bottle of wine, a nice card, the fridge was partially stocked, plenty of coffee, the house was amazingly clean and gorgeous and we just felt very welcomed right away. We had plenty of information about Asheville left for us as well as detailed instructions about the house. Will definitely contact them again if ever in the area! We loved the cleanliness, it was very quiet, smelled great inside and really just felt like "home." We didn't want to leave!

(September 6 - 8)
We were delighted with our stay. It was a modern, comfortable, and clean home with all the necessary amenities (& some). It was located in a safe and quiet neighborhood that was close to stores. I especially loved the luxurious large bathtub (because I have a broken foot, it was necessary). Overall, we enjoyed our stay there and would recommend it to others.
Thank you so much! It was lovely. Brian especially loved the automatic trashcan and insists on buying one when we get home. :)

(August 22 - 30)
We were there to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary and Tracy and Brent were OUTSTANDING hosts. They greeted us with a Happy Anniversary balloon and numerous great treats. They are truly excellent hosts in every way. Their place is perfect and the best a*rbnb we have stayed in, by far. We hope to stay there again.

(August 19 - 21)
This is a very beautiful home in a quite neighborhood and Tracy and Brent are very good to work with.

(August 7-9)
Absolutely the nicest rental house we have ever stayed in. Including the Hawaii place. We have fallen in love. Thank you so much I can only hope that you are as pleased with our home as we are with yours!! We really dont want to leave!
Sometimes blessing rain down: the home for which we traded 2 nights -is the cleanest, nicest rental we have ever stayed in anywhere in the world! We are in love! The pictures don't do it justice! 2 miles from the Biltmore and 9 minutes to P.F. Changs! Sssssoooo thankful

(July 31 - August 7)
Such a fantastic place to stay when visiting Asheville. Beautiful space, super clean, and the most well-stocked Ai*bn* I've been in. The hosts are kind and very responsive. It was great!

(July 29 - 31)
Town home is beautiful, and conveniently located a short distance from downtown. We loved our stay, and Tracy and Brent were wonderful hosts! I would highly recommend.

(July 20-24)
Everything we could possibly need or want was provided in a lovely home with more amenities than shown and described in the listing. We couldn't have been happier with our stay had we been staying at the Ritz Carleton. This was better!
When I walked in the front door of your home, with no problems using the automated lock system (yay!), I was immediately struck by all sensory perceptions. It was beautiful. It smelled wonderful. It was cool and peaceful. I felt right at home, except this was better!
There's nothing that could have done to make it better. We were VERY, VERY HAPPY.

(July 19 - 20)
They had everything available to us that was in their place. Responded to our email/text immediately before we even got there. Had all kinds of brochures (dining/activities) for us to find our way around. Had easy instructions for us. It was my first time using an Ai*b*b and I was glad it was a such a nice experience. Thank you Tracy and Brent

(July 17 - 19)
It is an amazing place. You definitely need to stay at Tracy and Brent's house if you are going to Asheville. We all deeply love your home.

(July 15 - 17)
We had a great experience staying at Tracy and Brent's home. Everything was exactly as described and they even provided us a local bottle of wine and cookies upon arrival. I reached out to them a few days before arrival asking if we could check in before 5pm and Tracy promptly responded telling me she would text me as soon as the cleaners were done from their previous guests. Their home is lovely and is situated in a new, quiet neighborhood that is about 8 minute drive from West Asheville and 10-15 minutes from downtown Asheville. We enjoyed the quiet retreat. I would definitely recommend staying at Tracy and Brent's home and would gladly return when we are in Asheville next

(July 8 - 15)
The moment we walked through the doors it felt like home. The accommodations were beautiful, inviting, comfortable, and clean!!!

What Lisa loved about your listing:

It was warm and inviting. Brent and Tracy are fabulous hosts and went to great lengths to make sure we enjoyed our stay in Asheville.

What Lisa thought you could improve about the experience:

It was perfect!!! Don't change a thing. I can't wait to come back

(June 30 - July 3)
This home was the perfect place for the quiet weekend getaway my husband and I were looking for. Tracy and Brent had everything we needed and were easily available. They left a great guide of activities & restaurants and gave a great recommendation for rafting. Their home was close to everything and was exactly as described. We can't wait to go back and hope to bring the kids with next time. Highly recommend staying here!

(June 27 - 30)
The house was exactly as it was described. Five star luxury, and Brent and Tracy were great. I'd love to stay there when I'm in Asheville again.

(June 25 - 27)
One of the best hosts we have stayed with. Made us feel like we were staying at a hotel.

(June 18 - 25)
It was a fantastic place? It's very well decorated and has everything that you need. The location is excellent too with quick access to the Blue Ridge Pkwy, I-26 and I-40. We couldn't have asked for anything better.

(June 12 - 15)
Tracy and Brent made us feel comfortable renting their home. Communication was excellent and as always we seem to forget something and they quickly remedied our plight. The neighborhood was very quite which is a plus for us. The home's modern conveniences and decor made it so that we just wanted to stay in rather than explore Asheville. If your looking for a restful, memorable stay this is it!

(June 10 - 13)
This was our first experience with A*rb*b, and due to Tracy and Brent's beautiful home and hospitality it will definitely not be the last! The house was perfect for our family's weekend trip to Asheville. Very clean and accommodating! We especially enjoyed the wine and welcome note they left, along with a binder full of tourist info, which was very helpful when we were searching for dinner spots. The neighborhood was very nice, safe, and quiet, and a short distance to downtown and Biltmore! We hope to stay here again on future trips to Asheville!

(June 3 - 6)
Home was incredibly warm and welcoming when we entered after a long drive. There was a nice set up of goodies which was a lovely personal touch. The house was beautiful and everything it claimed to be. Especially loved the porch beside the pond and water fountain which was very peaceful and relaxing. I would definitely stay here again!!

(May 27-30)

Great time once again!! This was our second time staying at this house and we love it!! Can't wait to go back!

(May 16-19)

Tracy and Brent's home was lovely and comfortable. We were welcome with bottle of wine and cookies! They had looks of informational materials about local activities and restaurants as well as great instruction re: using tv, location of extra linens towels etc and contact numbers I case we needed anything. I screwed up my departure date and they were so gracious and accomdating to work out extra day at their place for us. Their description of home and its location to things we were wanting to do while in Asheville were acurate and checking out instructions were simple. Highly recommend staying at Tracy and Brent's.

(May 12-15)

Great place - well stocked and easy/ quick communication with host. Nice touches throughout the house too. Thank you very much!

(May 8-10)

We had the opportunity to stay at Tracy & Brent's beautiful home in May celebrating my son's graduation. We came down to Clemson from NJ and then on to Asheville with the rest of the family. This was our/and our extended family's first A*rb*b experience and I will tell you...everyone else from now on has a very high bar to live up to! We really felt that we were just staying in a friend's home. Tracy was patient and upbeat in answering my numerous first-timer questions and was quick to respond prior to our visit, even while she herself was on a family vacation. That's some real 'hospitality'. It gave me the sense of security that this really WAS a good idea. The house was just as pictured. It felt like you were vacationing in a model home. The details that you don't see in the pics, the 'little' things that make your stay soooo comfortable and relaxing were things like the spices, etc. for cooking (ok-we didn't cook...but we could have!), the Keurig machine (and coffee- totally forgot about where we were going to get that) the wonderful cookies, the discount coupons to shops and restaurants, the local mags and information....and the life saving oatmeal packets!! (that was the clincher). The beds and pillows were comfortable and the towels plentiful. What more could you ask for? ....having fun with new tech. Never met Alexa before. What a hoot! I believe it may have been added onto the graduation present list now. :) The location was outstanding, (although the street turn can be illusive in the dark, so pay attention), but 5 minutes to the Biltmore. 10ish minutes to downtown. Perfect as our family went separate ways one afternoon and was able to regroup at 'home' and go to dinner together. We are a well travelled group and probably a bit particular. Staying here I believe you've made A*rb*b converts of us all. Thanks for making it easy! and thanks so much for the celebratory bottle of wine. (that was a lovely gesture) Best wishes to you. I've already told our friends where to stay if they are visiting Asheville!

(May 5-8)
Tracy and Brent provided a great experience for our first A*rb*b. They left us wine and snacks to welcome us. Their home is beautifully updated and has every resource you need to enjoy your vacation. The location was convenient to the Biltmore and downtown. I would stay there again!

(May 1-4)
The response and patience was phenomenal. Owners were very accommodating and helpful, wanting to make sure we were happy. The location was so easy to find and easy access to where we chose to go. The offerings inside were just like home so we felt very welcome. We would definitely stay here again. Instruction booklet was a BIG help as walking into someone else's place can be a bit unnerving not knowing where anything is or what to do.

(April 29-May 1)
From the moment we entered Tracy and Brent's home we felt at home. The home was beautifully furnished and comfortable. Tracy and Brent went above and beyond to make our stay special. From the wine and personal note to the stocked refrigerator everything was perfect. I am coming back in June with my husband and another couple and I can't wait!

(April 27-29)
Tracy and Brent's place is really an amazing find. The location within Asheville is really great, yet their neighborhood is very quiet. It was such a nice surprise to walk in such a lovely home with a new bottle of Merlot, coffee pods, and some items in the fridge. They always responded to questions quickly. We won't hesitate to book with Tracy and Brent again when we come to Asheville.

(April 15-27)
While some may boast 5-stars but miss the mark, Tracy & Brent's place hits the bullseye! From the welcome card and delicious cookies upon arrival to the marvelous blackout shades in the rooms to the spick and span clean everything, their place nails it. The beds were comfy with fresh, smelling-lovely linens in spacious, well-appointed rooms. The bathrooms were spotless with fantastic travel size toiletries of anything we may have forgotten. Their attention to every detail clearly shines through in this wonderful house. If you want to have a fantastic stay in Asheville, this is the place to have it!

(April 10-14)
This was my first A*rb&b and I think I am spoiled. Tracy and Brent were always available, always responsive, but not at all intrusive. It felt like the house (which is gorgeous) was ours. The furniture was comfortable, the kitchen had all modern appliances and the house was immaculate. We spent 5 days in Asheville and it was always wonderful to go back to the house. I can't say enough positive things about this rental. Imagine walking into a home after driving for several hours, and on the counter is a bottle of wine and two glasses. Definitely makes you feel at home. There is a book of information on anything you can think of, and Tracy was available for any additional questions. Thank you, Tracy and Brent. We loved your house and if we go back to Asheville I'm sure we will be calling upon you again. And if you rent this lovely home remember to talk to Alexa. She will converse, play you music and tell you the weather. She's great, and a wonderful addition to the home.

(April 8 - 10)
The house was beautiful, clean and had little special touches that made our trip more enjoyable. The location was also very convenient to the Biltmore and downtown!

(April 5 - 8)

This is one of the nicest A*R*N*B s I have ever stayed in! Tracy is so thoughtful and left us plenty of goodies to make us feel right at home. It truly felt like we were being taken care and guests in someone's home vs. being in a cold, listless rental. We loved the fireplace--- everything was so cozy. Thanks again!

(March 29-April 4)
Tracy and Brent more than made us feel welcome with very clear directions and assistance for having a comfortable stay at their beautiful townhouse. Having stayed at several A**B*B properties, they should be the "model" for all others to follow.

(March 21-26)
We arrived to a beautifully kept retreat. The fireplace was on, fridge well supplied and the home home was absolutely spotless! Tracy & Brent were a phone call away, while providing total privacy. We shopped & dined, then enjoyed ultra comfortable sleeping accommodations! It truly felt like home! Could not have chosen a cozier place to spend our ' Asheville Adventure' !

(March 18-20)
Tracy and Brent were very hospitable with leaving a greeting as well as wine and some pastry treats. It was so pleasant.

(March 15-18)
Got greeted with a nice welcome card and bottle of wine ! The house is spaces and very clean and easy to get in. We all enjoyed the hi tech electronics !! Love the Amazon Echo and already ordered our own :-) It's also very nice if you want to cook that Tracy and Brent have all the necessary condiments, spices and nice equipped pantry for cooking. We enjoyed every minute of our stay.

(March 11-15)
Such a beautiful house, pictures don't do it justice. Loved the koi pond too. And lots of great info about the area, thanks Tracy and Brent for a great stay!

(March 4-6)

Tracy and Brent are exceptional hosts. This trip is both our first visit to Asheville, and our first Air**b experience, and it could not have been any more successful. At first, we looked for a downtown hotel at the right price and with the standard number of stars for us. The only sure bet was the new Aloft. We decided to take at look at Air*n* and found Tracy and Brent, but the occupancy limit for their home was four, and we needed five. I contacted them and found out the reason was they?ve had issues with previous large groups, but decided to take a risk with us and allowed our group of five. During the days before our trip, they responded diligently to all our requests and questions. They made great recommendations for food, live music, and places to see. They provided a local paper with lots of information and were always there to help us. When we get to the house, we were jubilant (lot?s of wow expressions from the whole group) to see that their house is quite lovely. Everything is in its place, clean, great smell, spacious, with family pictures around the house that make you feel you are staying at an old friend?s home. The house even has a ?User?s Guide?. I tried connecting to their WIFI and could not figure out how. I texted them and even though they were still at work and it was a bit late in the afternoon, they replied and gave us the password. Then we found out the password was already in the User?s Guide. We brought beer, but it was not cold, we open the refrigerator, there?s cold beer, and we are welcome to help ourselves. More of these pleasant surprises continued as our stay progressed, and we then knew we had made a great decision by going with Tracy and Brent rather than with the Aloft. I could keep going but, to summarize, this is our Asheville base of operations now. This residence is a great place at an affordable price close to downtown where you feel at home, and where a pair of caring hosts that have every intention to make your stay a memorable one are just a text message away. Tracy and Brent get an A-plus on our first Air*n* test.

(Feb 26-28)

What a beautiful home. Everything was so clean and neat. The home itself had many upgrades including an amazon echo, memory foam beds, top notch appliances, granite, hard woods, large flat screen tvs in each room and a nice outdoor area with a coy pond. Tracy and Brent were quick to respond to questions, and had a bottle of local wine and a fire waiting on us.The location of the home is very close to downtown and the interstates. We would stay here again!

(Feb 23-25)

Tracy and Brent's place was such a great home to stay in. A clean, updated and cozy place with great features and lots of room. Communication was superb and I felt comfortable and appreciated by the hosts. Not far from downtown and located in a quiet area. Would definitely stay again!

(Feb 19-21)

We choose this place for a girls weekend and could not have been happier! Beautiful house, comfy beds, cozy fireplace and super accommodating hosts! Location was in a quiet neighborhood and great for going down town or to the Biltmore. Highly recommend!

(Feb 11-14)

It's a treat to write this review for Tracy and Brent. This was our 1st time using ****** and we are so glad did. Their home provided the warm comfort we were needing after a long flight from California to North Carolina. The little touches they took the time to add ... A warm fire waiting for us, a bottle of wine, a welcoming note was kindness we appreciated. Their home is lovely and they respectfully let us know if we had any house concerns they were near. We very much enjoyed the comfort of their home after our long days traveling sites in North Carolina and we hope we will be back soon. Thank you kindly.

(Feb 6-8)

Newly built and decorated townhome on the outskirts of Asheville. Comfortable amenities.

(Jan 29-Jan 31)

Brent and Tracy were very great hosts. The entire house was loaded with enough amenities for us to get settled in very easily. There complimentary bottle of wine and Amazon Echo, were unexpected but very welcome surprises. Both of them kept in touch with us through out the trip and were available if we needed anything. The 6 of us loved staying in their home and we were not cramped what so ever. It was a great place to stay only an uber away from downtown asheville. We really loved it.

(Jan. 23 - 26)

The hosts provided ample information in relation to the house and the area. The communication was excellent and all my questions were answered. The description of the house was spot on and the house was in immaculate condition. We felt welcome in the house with access to all facilities (e.g. laundry and kitchen) and was also thankful for the use of the bassinet for our newborn.

(Jan 15-18)
A beautiful home that had everything we could have needed for our long weekend. There were 4 of us, 2 couples, and we had plenty of room!! Will def plan on staying here again on our next trip to Asheville!!

(Jan. 8-10)
Tracy and Brent's home was perfect for our family weekend. The home is beautifully decorated with ample space to relax and enjoy their gas fireplace. We appreciated the bottle of wine and craft beers that were left for us to enjoy. The West Asheville location was great and allowed us to quickly get to wherever we wanted to go ( great meals at Corner Kitchen and Biscuithead).

It was a great first experience for us using ....... and when we're back at Asheville we'll definitely be staying here again!

(Nov. 30 - Dec. 3)
This quote from Mary Poppins describes Tracy and Brent's home to perfection. We recently stayed at this property with another couple while in Asheville to tour the Biltmore House during the holidays. We are a retired (very picky) couple who have rented homes, condos, and townhouses from Florida to Hawaii. Tracy and Brent's home EXCEEDED all our expectations. From the upscale appliances and immaculate condition to the NUMEROUS free amenities provided by our hosts, this property was a pure delight. It's location is a just a few minutes drive from Biltmore, restaurants, and shopping. Tracy was very helpful and quick to respond by email to any questions that we had. During our visit, our favorite tech toy was Alexa, an Amazon Echo speaker. We enjoyed requesting songs, jokes, and information from it. (It's going on my Christmas wish list!) Our next visit to Asheville will be so easy to plan since we already know where we will be staying!

Kent (Nov 22 - 24) We loved our stay and felt at home. Thank you Brent and Tracy for your hospitality. We were greeted by a nice bottle of wine and everything needed for a comfortable stay. Very nice accommodations in a peaceful neighborhood. Would definitely stay again next time through Asheville.

Missy (Nov 20 - 22) Everything about Tracy and Brent's townhouse was lovely! We felt at home from the moment we walked in. I appreciated Tracy's willingness to answer any and all questions. We were thrilled and hope to visit again soon!

Alexa (Nov 13 - Nov 15) Everything was absolutely wonderful! Tracy and Brent were very helpful and great with communication from start to finish. The house is in the perfect location and very easy to find right off the highway. It is about a $15 - $20 Uber to the Downtown area! The house is beautiful inside and out and really made our trip to Asheville outstanding! We will definitely be coming back!

Pauline (Nov. 9 - Nov 12) Great House very clean, felt just like home. I was traveling with my parents and this was the perfect place to come back and relax. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Tracy and Brent were great to work with and very helpful. Will definitely stay again.

(Nov. 5 - Nov 7)
Tracy and Brent were terrific hosts and made us feel very welcome leading up to and during our short stay. Great communication. The listing was just as described. The home was tucked away in a small, peaceful neighborhood very convenient to everything in Asheville. The bed in the master was comfortable and all the rooms were spacious, clean and cozy. Highly recommended.

(Nov. 6th - 7th)
Tracy and Brent's home was an absolute gem! Great, easy to find location in a lovely quiet neighborhood. Fabulous kitchen and dining area, and the most comfortable couches (I'm not kidding, my mom wants them!). On top of all that, a lovely selection of books and brochures about things to do in/around Asheville and they left us a bottle of wine from the Biltmore. I would 100% recommend staying here, and would definitely do it again!

(Oct 28 - 30)
What a great find. Killer tucked away quiet neighborhood. It Is close to everything. There is a nice farmers market right up the road . Close to the hustle and bustle of downtown, the Biltmore mansion , great food and breweries if you are a craft beer hound. Spotless and clean. Very relaxing environment, comfortable and very tastefully appointed. Tracy & Brent are always quick to get back to you if there are questions or need a suggestion. They had a great selection of information on what to do , see and eat in the surrounding area. Did i mention spotless..this is white glove clean. We will be back again. Thanks for killer experience.!!!!!!!!!!!!

(Oct 30 - Nov 1)

The hosts made us feel very welcome, the house was in immaculate condition even though they had another guest checking out earlier in the day. The location is good, a short drive from downtown Asheville, and in a good small neighborhood.

The Shirleys made us feel so welcome in their beautiful home, despite not giving them more than 24 hours notice of our desired date. You could feel their effort to make us comfortable in every room--the house was squeaky clean and fresh. The sheets on all the beds were luxurious, and the hosts even welcomed us with a nice bottle of wine and an invitation to raid the fridge. Provided Keurig coffee station was a nice touch in the kitchen, as were televisions in the bedrooms, a cool sound/info system from Amazon called Echo, and thoughtful toiletries provided in each bath. We used the wifi access and loved that we could come and go keyless, with a handy code for the front door lock. The home is beautifully furnished and up-to-date. We had a wonderful time in Asheville here.

Stefanie And Griffin--(Oct 9-11)
Tracy & Brent were wonderful hosts! It was so nice to arrive & have a bottle of local wine, chocolate & welcome note waiting for us! Their place is in a small, quiet neighborhood that is a short drive or uber ride to any Asheville destination. The home itself beautiful, very spacious & spotless. We truly enjoyed our stay & would recommend this home to anyone traveling to the Asheville area.

This home is incredible and the homeowners went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable and to make us feel welcome. I would recommend this home for anyone seeking a great place to stay in Asheville--it is minutes to everything, including the Farmer's Market, the outlets, the Biltmore. You couldn't ask for a better place!
