Recently renovated 1,000 sq. ft. condo with king bed and spacious living room that includes a super comfy queen sleeper sofa featuring a unique pillow top mattress. Exposed brick walls, high ceilings, and large windows invite plenty of natural sunlight into the living room. You will be delighted with the gourmet kitchen, fully equipped with modern stainless appliances, handmade stoneware & glasses. The kitchen opens directly into the living area; enjoy your meals at the kitchen bar or at the dining table (seats 6). The bedroom offers an extra-large closet with organizers and a wall-mounted flat screen TV. The connected bath features a walk-in shower (dual shower head) and granite double sinks. Immaculately furnished with heirloom furniture and eclectic accents.

Loft #306 is located on the third floor; the S & W Building provides a secure, keyless, coded exterior entrance and elevator to make your move-in safe and easy. The loft's location on the south side of the building shields from street noise, insuring a quiet and peaceful stay with a spectacular view of Mt. Pisgah from your living room window! You can go for days without using your car which can be safely and affordably parked in the city-operated Rankin Garage less than a block from the building's entrance. Pritchard Park is directly across the street and Pack Square Park is just two blocks away. Bicycle storage is also available in the building.

Something great is always showing and Tuesday night features $5 admission for all seats. If you enjoy art, consider a visit to Blue Spiral or the Haen Gallery, both a short walk. Pritchard Park is directly across the street from the S&W Bldg and Pack Square Park is two blocks away. Understand that when you walk in downtown Asheville, you will be entertained continuously.

About the owner: We first visited Asheville in 2007 to attend a film festival and immediately knew the city was the place for us. We relocated to Asheville in 2013 from our hometown in upstate NY (Elmira) after our two children left for college. Although we are not natives, the friendly and welcoming community has made us feel as though we've lived here for many years. "We may not have been born in the mountains of western NC, but we got here as soon as we could, y'all!" Why the Owner Chose Asheville: Located in the beautifully renovated art-deco style S&W Building (listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1977), the #306 S&W Loft is situated in the center of downtown Asheville. Everything is within walking distance so you don't need to use a vehicle. City-operated Rankin Garage less than a block away (first hour free, then $1/hour -- $10/daily parking); limited street parking behind building (first-come / first served); on-street metered parking (free after 6 PM & all day Sunday).

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying in this contemporary loft housed in a beautiful Art Deco building surrounded by trendy yet affordable cafes and music venues. The loft offers a bright southern exposure and all modern appliances as well as some very unique architectural elements. Local Asheville artists are represented in wall art pieces as well as toiletry bath items which are thoughtful special touches, here. The owners provided us with so many great dining options and other insights which made our stay that more special. We loved our lunch @Chestnut--great farm to table food, the Arcade area which includes some nice wine bars --Sante and the Library. So many unique shops that you can explore within a short walk from the condo. Truly a wonderful weekend in Asheville! L.C. (Nashville, TN)

I booked this loft as a place to stay on my way to taking my son to camp. It's very nicely done and even better than the pictures. We walked out of the entrance and found ourselves in the heart of downtown. We could walk to a magnitude of shops and restaurants. Limones and French Broad Chocolate Lounge are two of my favorites. There happened to be a blues festival going on while we were there which was a bonus. The owners really make you feel at home. They pay attention to all the small details that make a place feel special and you a welcomed guest. I even got a call from them just checking in and making sure I had everything I needed. They provided coffee from a local shop along with other local specialty items like beautiful soaps and grapefruit fragranced lotions and body wash. My son was even impressed. The unit is very spacious and totally remodeled. The pull out bed was also very comfortable.
We will no longer book a hotel room for this trip and hope to be regulars at 306SW. The only thing that would have made this a better trip is if we had more time. Next year we hope to go a bit earlier and take advantage of some of the amazing hikes and maybe whitewater rafting.

My husband and I visit Asheville often and normally stay at the Hotel Indigo. This time we decided to try something different, and I'm so glad we did! The 306 Loft is beautifully decorated, but very comfortable, and it was so much more peaceful and private than staying in a hotel room. The S&W building itself is quite charming, and the location simply could not be any better. Right across from Pritchard Park, the loft is a short distance to all of downtown Asheville's best restaurants, shops and breweries, so we just left the car parked and walked everywhere. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the S&W loft. The place is so nice and the beds are comfy - king bed in the master and pull out sofa that was an air mattress. This is the most comfortable air pull out I have ever been in. We met the owner at the Thirsty Monk and she was so friendly and accommodating. She even left us coffee and half and half in the fridge. If you're looking for a sweet loft in the center of downtown AVL (right next to the park), you must stay here. We will be back for sure! (Bridgette L.)

Our stay at this condo was perfect - the unit is very nicely decorated and furnished and is in a perfect location for exploring downtown Asheville. My wife and I have been renting condos once or twice a year for several years, and this was the best equipped (pots, pans, dishes, etc.) and best stocked (toiletries) of any place we've stayed before. And as a bonus - the owners were incredibly friendly and communicative - providing a great deal of information about local restaurants and attractions as well as parking and transportation. This is a beautiful property in a beautiful building,right in the heart of Asheville! It had all the amenities one would want or need .There were so many restaurants,shops,and breweries within walking distance.Next time in Asheville will stay here again! The property was spotless and very beautifully decorated.The couple who have the property were very nice and from the beginning till the end of our stay made us feel welcome and comfortable.I would recommend Asheville and this property to anyone looking to go somewhere! We stayed here for a long weekend and we could not have been closer to all the activities downtown. We have stayed in Asheville before but this was by far our favorite way to stay. The condo was beautiful and clean and the owners were great to accommodate our schedules for check in and check out. Highly recommend!

We stayed here 10/31 - 11/4 and we couldn't have asked for anything more. Everything from location to comfort was perfect! Walking distance to everywhere downtown even the south slope was perfect. Couldn't have asked for a better stay - we truly enjoyed our week in Asheville!

Stayed at this gorgeous condo during our wedding this fall, and it was absolutely the perfect home for us for that weekend. It's beautiful and quite large with plenty of space for our family and friends to visit (we fit 11 around the table for lunch!) The location can't be beat - it's super central, whether you want to walk to the breweries on the South Slope or explore the downtown restaurants and shops. The owners are lovely people and had it stocked with coffee and tea for us, and when we left a few things behind they went above and beyond to ensure we got them back. I would absolutely stay here again, and will recommend it to any friends looking to stay downtown!
