Reviews for this vacation apartment rental in Asheville, North Carolina
Cozy and Quiet
July 24, 2015
The apartment is cozy and beautifully decorated, in a peaceful setting with its own patio. Access is down a garden path, and there is a path behind the house that leads to a lovely nature walk. We enjoyed our stay, and we would recommend it to anyone planning a stay in Asheville.
JahSun , Lizzy and Sophia were excellent host!
Very unique property with plenty of room to spread out . I highly recommend the Nauhaus when planning a visit to Asheville !

We spent a wonderful weekend in Asheville staying at the Nauhaus with JahSun, Lizzie and Sophia to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Their house is a very special place, in a quiet and lovely neighborhood close to the River Arts District and Haywood Rd.
JahSun is an exceptionally gracious host - he greeted us personally, made suggestions of how we could spend the evening and showed us round/made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. We had a super evening stroll and JahSun even sent me a text to make sure we knew where there were places to eat locally if we needed them.
We very much enjoyed our conversations with him and the family and he was kind enough to introduce us to friends and his visiting father and relatives. In saying that everyone was also very respective of our privacy and time and the apartment is private with its own entrance - the level of interaction is up to you!
The accommodation itself was very clean and comfortable - we enjoyed the raw chocolates, Kombuchi and beer along with the interesting books and peaceful outdoor patio where we had breakfast. The kitchen is well equipped for making breakfast and it would be easy to make a meal there if you needed to. The Wifi was great to have and we did find we could make calls there from our cell phone although other guests have said they found it difficult. The bed is super comfortable and truly a luxury bathroom with the option to have a bath (great after hiking) or a shower. We did know the area well but JahSun is very keen to help you out if you are less familiar with Asheville and provides a great deal of tourist information if you need any ideas. We particularly liked the fact it was close to the Blue Ridge Parkway with easy to access both hiking and Asheville town centre for meals out and entertainment etc.
We have very happy memories of the time we spent there and hope we get the opportunity to visit again.
Don't miss the chance to visit this unusual place and meet the very special hosts!!
We can't thank you enough JahSun et al.

JahSun and Lizzy's eco-home is THE place to stay in Asheville. Their home is located within walking distance to West Asheville (and even the River Arts District) with plenty of local restaurants, micro-brews and entertainment venues at your finger-tips. The surrounding neighborhood is quaint and friendly. The home itself is a representation of the very best of Asheville; integrating the beauty and function of the natural environment into the structure itself, minimizing the building's footprint on the surrounding landscape, and housing a host and hostess who are kind, accommodating, and in-tune with their community. My wife and I visit Asheville at least once a year and, in our experience, you just couldn't ask for a better place to stay.
Thanks again JahSun and Lizzy :)

We had a wonderful stay and visit. A great space both indoors and outdoors. Having a bedroom separate of the living space helps to make the accommodations very comfortable. The hosts were very gracious, we even popped in to say hello and let our little ones get to know each other. The house is just close enough to any activity that you might want to be involved in in Asheville, but also private enough for a little down time. Thanks, JahSun, Lizzy, and Sophia! We hope our paths will cross again very soon!

My wife and I visited Asheville for a long weekend with our six week old daughter. Nauhaus was the perfect place for us to stay. JahSun and Lizzy were extremely welcoming and gave us great recommendations upon request. We will certainly look to stay at Nauhaus during our next visit to Asheville.

As frequent visitors to WNC, we have stayed in a variety of lodgings, from the Grove Park Inn to rustic cabins, to chain hotels. By far, we consider the Nauhaus to be our favorite! It is extremely comfortable, well appointed and equipped perfectly. It is cozy, but not cramped, and it is pretty cool to stay in a hempcrete house. We loved the Buchi and local beer and chocolate that welcomed us, with JahSun, Lizzy, and beautiful Sophia after a long journey. A peaceful and loving vibe abounds! The location is excellent, being in W. Asheville, giving a visitor a local feel, and with easy access everywhere. We will return!
With gratitude, happiness, love, and peace.

We stayed for 2 nights and loved the Nauhaus. Our hosts were welcoming and had great recommendations for places to eat. It was the perfect place for our family if three and very toddler friendly. We will definitely be back!

Girls weekend 2013! Had a blast - Asheville is an awesome city! Checked out the Biltmore, Mt. Mitchell, Blue Ridge Parkway, River Arts District, LaZoom & lots of local nightlife. The White Duck Taco was amazing - highly recommend it for a cheap, but awesome lunch. Loved making Nauhaus our home base. Perfect location & super cool.
Thanks for sharing your little piece of paradise.

Thank you to JahSun, Lizzy, and sweet Sophia for a wonderful trip to Asheville! We were looking for hiking, craft breweries, vegan eating, and sustainable living. It was lovely to take a little break from our busy lives and get to spend our resting time at the Nauhaus. It was so comfortable here!
We are sad to leave, but we will come back soon!
Love and light to you all!!!
