In one of the lovliest villages in Veneto

Located on top of a quiet hill in Asolo, this elevated property offers gorgeous panoramic views of the valleys below. Casa Asolo, is just five minutes by car (or 20 minutes on foot) from the center of Asolo, one of the loveliest villages in Italy. Dating back to pre-Roman times, Asolo has attracted many intellectuals and artists, including Robert Browning, Igor Stravinsky, Ernest Hemmingway and Eleonora Duse. Asolo is known for its wine, its fabrics and embroidery, hand-painted ceramics, and antique furniture (with an antiques fair on the second Sunday of each month). Asolo is a great place to take peaceful walks to enjoy the scenery. During the summer months, there are live concerts and music festivals.

This is a magical landscape of history, scenery, medieval walled towns and Palladian villas. Visit Treviso, Padova, and Vicenza. Wander the lovely boutiques and local artisan shops in Asolo. Excursions in the area are possible on foot, bicycle or horseback; and three golf courses are nearby. Casa Asolo is only an hour’s drive (51 minutes by train) from Venice. The nearest railway stations are Castelfranco 16 km, Bassano del Grappa 16 km and Montebelluna 15 km; transfers can be arranged.

Recently restored, the villa has been built to take full advantage of the exceptional views over the valley and of the fortress that is the symbol of Asolo. The house is a wonderful combination of traditional and modern and is ideal for three couples travelling together. There are three double bedrooms (beds are 160 x 200 cm), each with its own spacious en suite bathroom. (Please note that the beds are two mattresses on one frame and can therefore be divided and fitted with single linens on request). Although the villa is exceptionally well furnished, the overall feeling is one of comfort. Colours are soothing and there are many beautiful, artistic touches throughout the house.

A lovely terrace provides the perfect spot to relax or dine while enjoying the spectacular views of the valley. Outdoor lighting illuminates the property and the pool in the evenings. The property is behind an electric gate and parking is available for three cars within the property grounds.

This twelve-acre estate is the perfect accommodation for guests who seek peace and privacy with easy access to a village. For safety reasons, young children (1-7 yrs) are not permitted (the pool is not gated). Casa Asolo is not suitable for guests with walking difficulties.

Additional amenities: 4 ring gas hob, Airport distance:Venice 63 km Milan 300 km, Electronic entrance gate, Garden on the rear upper level, Iron and ironing board, Panoramic terrace, Parking for 3 cars inside the property, Pool: 2 x 8m, Private Chef, Voip telephone
