Description of the Ayrshire & Arran vacation apartment rental
Largs Views is a well presented top floor, 2 bed holiday apartment with outstanding views of The Arran Goat fell hills, Millport, Rothesay and Dunoon, on a clear night to the left you have views of Ailsa Craig in the distance.

Largs Views is situated centrally in the popular town of Largs. With all amenities practically on the doorstep it is an ideal location.

Currently we are refreshing the bedrooms and sitting room with new soft furnishings etc, updated interior photo's will be posted asap. Largs Views is a self catering apartment with fully fitted and integrated kitchen including washing machine, dishwasher, fridge freezer and breakfast bar. The bathroom has just been finished to a high standard with power shower. The sitting room (bay window) and master bedroom are front facing with sea views and the rear of the apartment has views of the Brisbane Mains Hills.

It is a truly bright and beautifully finished apartment ideal for families and also would be ideal for photographers and artists as the views are the best in town guaranteed.

Area Information
Largs is a traditional holiday resort on the west coast of Scotland.

Located on the River Clyde, Largs has everything you would expect from a Scottish seaside resort, complete with Victorian promenade and ice cream parlours. It is a good base for exploring the many west coast islands including Cumbrae, which is just a mile offshore. There is a regular ferry service to the islands and the famous Waverley Paddle Steamer makes regular trips from Largs during the summer months.

The town is famed for a battle in 1263 when the Vikings, attempting to land from a fleet of longboats, were repulsed by the army of Alexander III. This Viking heritage is celebrated at Vikingar! a multi-media Viking-themed attraction and at the annual Largs Viking Festival. Every year, at the end of summer, a range of battle re-enactments and living history displays are held to mark the end of Viking rule in Scotland's west coast. The festival celebrates this heritage and the Battle of Largs, culminating in a grand Viking galley burning and firework display.

If this isn't enough, there are two golf courses, putting, bowls, play parks, a swimming pool and many other sport and leisure activities to keep you entertained in Largs. Largs also has a great variety of bars, restaurants and cafe's to suit any taste, the nightlife has something for everyone.

Kelburn Castle and Country Park is a very pleasant 15 minute walk along the shore side and has plenty of events and things to do for both adults and children.

Largs Live Music festival, Largs regatta and this year the Largs food festival also adds to a busy summer calendar.

Millport which is a 10 minute ferry ride away has many great days to enjoy. The Millport Country and Western weekend which is great fun and again something for everyone and The Millport Scooter rally to name just a couple.
