Grandkids Loved It
August 20, 2011
My 2 grandchildren (ages 5 and 7) and I enjoyed a great getaway for one on one time. The house was in great condition and beautifully decorated. Furnishings were nice and beds very comfortable. Lovely linens and a kitchen with absolutely everything . Most enjoyable was star gazing on the gorgeous patio (weinie & marshmallow roast in the fire pit) and hiking and biking nearby canyons. We had a wonderful time at the Aztec Ruins which were10 minutes away (very educational) and found great restaurants nearby. We had yummy green chile cheesburgers and found fresh produce just down the road at Sutherland Farms. The rural setting provided lots of fresh air and a "petting zoo" type theme. The neighboring donkey, horses and sheep made a fun stay for the kids. Neighbors were so friendly. Durango was awesome (30 minute drive), we rode the train and saw a melodrama!
