“Just what we needed.”
Our first vacation was more than we could have hoped for. It was relaxing and quiet but still close enough to town that we could go out and explore. Even though it rained our entire trip the fireplace was exactly the warmth we needed. Our puppy even loved it as much as we did! We would go back in a heartbeat!
Owner's reply: Awe! We are so happy to hear how great your vacation was! Thank you for being such great guests! We would love to have you back.
“quiet, secluded, but close to everything”
The cabin was well equipped and a perfect size for two. Our three large dogs loved the trails behind the property that led up to the abandoned ski lift. A quick drive to Boone, Blowing Rock and Banner Elk as well as all the slopes. Parking anything larger than a small SUV would be tough.
We rented this cabin to get away from the heat here in Central Florida. Only problem, we couldn't stay longer
Owner's reply: We are so glad to hear that you would have liked to stay longer! Thank you!
“Cute, Cozy and Convenient”
Really enjoyed staying in this cabin with my family this past weekend. Very clean and comfortable and my sons loved rocking in the chairs on the deck in such a peaceful setting. Convenient to Tweetsie and Grandfather Mountain and so much to see and do in between; guess we're just gonna have to plan another trip soon!
Owner's reply: So glad to hear you had such a wonderful time!
“Autumn at Oz weekend”
Great price! For the budget minded couple I would recommend it. Didn't get to enjoy it as much as we wanted since we were working a booth at Autum at Oz tht weekend.
“happy get away”
We found this to be a clean cozy cabin with comfortable room for 2. I would have given it a 5 but parking was very very limited especially with a large truck other than that we were very happy and if we rent again we will take the car
“A Hidden Treasure”
Located conveniently off Highway 105 but in an elevated and wooded setting enjoying a lovely outlook, this cabin is a hidden treasure. The kitchen was thoroughly cleaned and really well equipped, the Bedroom and adjoining Bathroom very comfortable and the Living Area with its gas fires made watching the snow a warm and delightful experience. Its hillside position means the approach is necessarily by steps, but once on the decking this charming octagonal cabin is a smashing place in which to stay. We will definitely consider returning.
This is a great plae to stay. Everything in the cottage was very clean and the cottage had wonderful decorations. We enjoyed our stay there very much.
Owner Supplied Testimonials
"We really enjoyed your place this weekend! Very cute and cozy! We defintely plan to try to stay again sometime soon. Thanks again for letting us use the place on such short notice. We really enjoyed it."
"The place was perfect--very homey and comfortable. The alcove area worked well for our little one's pack-n-play, so he could have his "own room". We really enjoyed our stay and we were able to ski 2 times and bring the little guy to the tubing slopes as well. The location was nice a close to everything and easy to get to. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy the place...we hope to return again!"
