Description of the Barnstable vacation home rental
Available for the first time following a loving restoration to its simple, old-fashioned charm. Situated on an old hilltop farm property set off by stone walls and private woods, right on Historic Old King's Highway, yet set well back from the road. You will enjoy quiet seclusion, yet still be only 8 minutes by car from all that Hyannis has to offer: restaurants, shopping, movies, tourist attractions and the ferry to Nantucket. A paradise for active, outdoor children with a swing set, enormous sandbox, playhouse. Ideal, too, for couples or smaller families who enjoy hearing birdsong in the morning as they sip their morning coffee on the private deck.

There is a large farm kitchen, beautifully restored and equipped, with an adjacent morning room (family board games and crafts included). The large living room with fireplace opens onto a spacious secluded deck. There is a roomy tiled bathroom with tub/shower and farm pedestal sink, and a brand new washer/dryer.

The tastefully appointed master bedroom and two kids' rooms upstairs offer plenty of dresser and closet space - and a crib is available at no extra charge. Beach chairs, umbrellas, sand toys on site for your use.
