“Beautiful, peaceful and fun”

This is the second year we have stayed at April's property. We travel with another family and it is the perfect set up for the kids to play (TONS of great toys and books at the house), swim, run around the big waterfront yard and just enjoy being at a beautiful setting. Oh, and eating s'mores around the big fire pit at night. The kitchen is fully stocked and everything is lovingly maintained. Beautiful views from yard and deck. Use of canoe and many other things on property. We will be back! Thanks again

Owner's reply: Thank you Katie! We hope to have you back in the future!

I rented this home for our company's sales force to work at a local bike week event. The guys were very satisfied with everything. The owners are very nice to work with and the home is real comfortable We plan to return next year!

Owner's reply: Thank you! We would be thrilled to have you back again for years to come!

“Vacation 2016”

We loved the home, it was perfect for our family that included a toddler - the toys were a wonderful added touch! The deck is gorgeous and it was so nice having a gas grill available. There's a big table on the deck as well as in the dining room with plenty of chairs for everyone, all very comfortable. The only downside for those of us who like to go into the lake is the milfoil. We were disappointed that the main beach, in particular, was so full of milfoil we could not go into the water there at all. We were able to swim in front of the cottage but there were many spots there that made swimming somewhat uncomfortable. It's such a shame.

Owner's reply: Thank you for your kind words about our home. We have spent a lot of time getting it how we like it and trying to make sure it is convenient and comfortable for our renters. I'm sorry to hear about the milfoil in the water. It is a problem that many lakes deal with in that area, and usually it is treated much earlier in the season. Just recently, a new board was selected for the lake association, so hopefully we will see the lake treated earlier next year.

Great vacation house!
Date of Stay: July 22, 2011
This house was wonderful! It was spacious, clean, and perfect for our weekend get-away. The lake was warm, the sunrise views were stunning, and the pool was less than a 5 minute walk away. The house is also just a short drive from Lake Winnipesaukee, so it was no trouble to find shops or restaurants. I would definitely stay again and have recommended this house to family and friends.

Their home is very welcoming. They have a nice kitchen. The layout is very spacious. The kids enjoyed the whole experience. It was a nice quiet retreat for us parents, and exciting fun for the kids. We had a fantastic time fishing. We caught 195 fish that week. Very enjoyable. Thanks for sharing your home with us.

Perfect vacation spot
Date of Stay: July 20, 2013
Very comfortable house. Well-maintained and excellent location. Beautiful views and friendly community. Had some rainy days but there was plenty to do with games on the screened-in porch and in the cozy downstairs room. Enjoyed several nights with an outdoor fire in the firepit. We had thee generations staying and all enjoyed this relaxing vacation together. Private location yet convenient to shopping. Groceries and food were just a few minutes away and Concord shopping just a half-hour trip. Owners were wonderful to work with and very responsive to any questions. Would definitely rcommend for all ages.

A Wonderful Vacation
Date of Stay: July 5, 2014
We were two families sharing this house for the week and we had a fantastic time, brought our boat with us. loved having the dock right there. Fishing was fantastic. Loved having the grill on porch and the fire pit for smores. Owner was very nice to deal with, answered all our questions and returned my deposit back promptly. House was very clean, AC in Master bedroom. Only down side was the association beach not kept up - weeds. Pool was great. Would highly recommend the Lake House to others.

Destination Wedding - vacation
Date of Stay: August 15, 2015
A great yard for a small wedding. We decided to have a destination wedding and had the ceremony in the backyard by the lake. Beautiful property and neighborhood. The lake is quiet and enjoyable. A nice getaway location with lots to do in the area or just kickback and enjoy the downtime. The owner is a pleasure to work with and very accommodating. Plenty of kitchen supplies for cooking/eating, etc. Nice set up with two separate family rooms and nice open floor plan.

Long weekend in late summer
Date of Stay: September 4, 2015
We loved the house and had an AMAZING time. We were 2 families staying here with kids ranging from 4 months to 5 years old and there was something for everyone. There was plenty of space and the views of the lake were incredible. The best part was the large expansive lawn with lots of water frontage. There is a firepit made from boulders from the property, a picnic table, a dock to jump off, water toys, a canoe and more. The care that is put into the property comes through. There are tons of toys, books and games and the kitchen is fully stocked. We have rented over 7 different properties over the years and this one stands out. Owners were friendly and easy to deal with. Will definitely be back! Thank you!
