Description from owner

Located in the well-known scenic village of Bedoin, Provence. Beautiful views of Mont Ventoux, 2-bedroom quarters are very private with over 5000 m2 of land with private gate and enclosed, and surrounded by famous vineyards like Chateau-Neuf du Pape. Really close to village (2 minute walk for shopping) yet charming and secluded sitting on close to an acre of land with breathtaking views.

2-bedroom suite is very spacious, comfortable and very well furnished. This is a very relaxing space. We kept it simple yet elegant and functional. Unique little nooks around the place.

A perfect place to unwind, relax and enjoy life and reconnect with yourself. An atmosphere of calm and welcome. A good motto: come to be yourself and use it as your own place.

There is no kitchen but fridge, microwave, diner ware, glasses for wine, we also offer a wine list a great selection of local wines and keep it ice cold for your arrival. We offer a free dish washing service for your stay once per day.

Walking distance to shopping. Great hiking and biking trails. Sightseeing and well-known fine restaurants. 35 minutes from Avignon TGV.

You can walk to the village in 3-5 minutes to go shopping and lots of really good restaurants in the village itself. All walking distance through communal path or small road from your space.

Bedoin has the largest mountain in the region. The famous Mont Ventoux where the Tour de France goes I'm not sure every year but it's a dreamland for cycling and nature lovers.

We redid the facade last year. White. We also have a couple plans for the property which stretches under an acre and has beautiful rock cliffs along it, all lit at night. You can hike all the way to the top and watch all around the village, Mont Ventoux and the country side. It's pretty stunning.

Walls are very thick (60 cm+) (24 inches) so house keeps cool in the Summer. More if you keep shutters almost closed. Bedoin has the best Monday food and crafts market in the region.

There are so many vineyards close by. Lakes and water holes. The ocean is about 1 hour away by car. We're 2 and a half hours from St. Tropez, Cannes and Nice or Italy a little further by freeway.

The famous Mont Ventoux, Vaucluse is a cyclist’s paradise. No doubt about it, cycling through the Vaucluse is one of the very best ways to enjoy the contrasting landscapes, the winding country roads, and feel the life and beauty here.

About the owner

We are a newly married couple living in California. We love our home in Provence. We spent a lot of time renovating it since 2003. The house belonged to my mother, artist Arlette Oger who passed in 2002. I bought the house in her memory to make it a charming "little palace" in Provence to ...
