North Berkeley Craftsman Home

November 7, 2008

This is a very nice and clean home in North Berkeley. It had all the amenities needed for an extended stay. The only thing I would say is that they advertise that there are 3 bedrooms which is not accurate. There are actually 2 bedrooms and an area by the dining room with a day bed (sort of). This can certainly sleep one more person, but it is not private and is not a bedroom. We were fine with that because it was just the 4 of us (mom & dad) and 2 kids that shared the second bedroom. But if 3 people wanted to rent and each have a private room, they would be disappointed. That being said, one big positive for us is that it had a high chair and a crib - perfect for a small family in need of those items. Also there were a few toys - also good for young kids. We thought it was great overall, and would definately rent it again. The owners are very nice and accomodating. It is in a wonderful location, woodsy street, within walking distance to good shops, eateries and grocery stores
