Description of the Big Sky vacation home rental
This custom-built contemporary home, is located on six picturesque acres in the heart of Big Sky. It is less than a mile from the Town Center amenities and only ten minutes from the biggest skiing in North America! Cross country ski trails are located at the end of the street, and offer access to over 75 kilometers of groomed ski and snowshoe trails.

This artfully designed home has over six thousand square feet of living space to provide you and your family with plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the best of the West. The floor plan is perfect for entertaining, yet there are plenty of private areas for reading a good book or relaxing by a fire.

Four stylishly decorated bedrooms will make you never want to leave, a special feature is a bunkroom that the kids will love - complete with a hidden door! A master suite has a 3-sided gas fireplace and a private deck with a hot tub ... perfect for the after-ski or hike soak! Double walk-in closets can hold all of your vacation gear.

The upstairs is home to a guest room and bath, and the get-away room. This is the place to come for ping pong, foosball, cards and games. A TV nook also graces the upstairs loft, and all the while you have outstanding views of Lone Mountain.

This home has windows that maximize both warmth and light. Custom concrete floors with radiant heat allow you to walk barefoot all winter. The setting is perfect for wildlife viewing, and one of the highpoints of our viewing was to watch a mother moose give birth to her baby, right outside our dining room window! Elk, deer and the occasional black bear have all been frequent visitors and wonderful neighbors.

House Description:
Upon entering the home you will find an amzazing open floor plan with a huge wood fireplace. A cozy sunken in TV area with sattelite TV. To the right of the TV room you will find another seating area in front of the wood fireplace and next to that is a dining room that seats 6. You will then see a very large kitchen that is great for entertaining. There is a bar in the kitchen that will set up to 8 people. The main floor features a mud room, laundry room, one dedroom with a twin bed, bedroom with a bunk bed, full bath, half bath, sitting area with computer, master suite with his and hers walk-in closets, master bath with soaking tub. The master bedroom leads out to a deck with hot tub, sitting area, and hammock. The home also features a great outdoor patio with wood burning stove.
The second floor offers a huge bedroom and bath, the secret bunk room and play loft, TV area, and ping-pong table

Rental Includes:
bedding, towels, trash bags, soaps, shampoo/conditioner, laundry detergent, dryer sheets, toilet paper, paper towels, dishwashing soap, basic condiments in fridge, spices, books, gas grill, hot tub, and a fully outfitted kitchen with all necessary appliances and cooking tools.

Area Information
The home is located in a secluded circle on 6 acreas and border's the Northfork Creek. It is a montana paradise.
This home is cross-country ski-in/ski-out on Lone Mountain Ranch's groomed ski trails. There is a great mountain bike trail less than a mile from the house that you can bike to right from the driveway. This trail runs all the way up to Big Sky Resort.

Big Sky Ski Resort is just a short 15 minute drive. (Big Sky Ski Resort is one of the top 10 ski resorts in America and the biggest skiing with over 5,000 acres)

World-Class Fly-Fishing on the Gallatin River is just a 10 minute drive.

Guided horseback riding trips are just 15 minutes away

White Water Rafting on the Gallatin River is just a 10 minute drive

The West Entrance of Yellowstone National Park is a 45 minute drive.

Guided snowmobiling trips are just a 10 minute drive.

There are a number of hiking and biking trails that are no more than a 15 minute drive.

Big Sky offers an abundance of recreational activities for all to enjoy!
