Nice Vacation

November 4, 2011

We stayed here and felt we had a real vacation ,We used the outdoor barbecue gril and the firepit every night , which had plenty of dry wood. It was nice to be out of Bellingham where there are plenty of trees and to be so close to the Bay. We loved the fact that there were Lots of nice paper plates and cups ; so I didn't spend the whole time doing dishes.

Birch Bay Vacation house

Overall this is a very nice place to stay. Birch Bay and the Canadian border are very easy to reach. I do feel that if it's being rented as a place with a kitchen, then the kitchen needs to be a little better equiped. A tea kettle, corkscrew, china cups, real cutlery, and dishtowels would be nice. There is a full kitchen, but it's set up for people who will only cook in the microwave and so what's the point of staying in a house? Everything else was great and we were glad we could have our dog there.
