Description of the Bluffton vacation home rental
Romantic getaway or honeymoon haven ... guys or gals weekend or family fun ... this charming, spacious and private two bedroom cottage is the perfect setting for a romantic, relaxing escape or activity-packed vacation, in the stunningly beautiful 20,000 acres of Palmetto Bluff. This elegant home overlooks tranquil Walnut Grove Pond, offers private parking, and is just a short walk from the heart of Wilson Village and its shops, restaurants and amenities. Our location is adjacent to Wilson Lawn and Racquet Club, offering tennis, bocce and croquet. Complimentary bicycles are available upon request, and guests may choose to explore over 50 miles of nature trails. If golf is your passion, wait till you play the world-class May River Golf Club, designed by Jack Nicklaus. After a lively day of activity, relax in one of our Adirondack chairs by the cozy brick fire-pit, and watch the egrets and herons nesting just beyond the water's edge.

This Lowcountry cottage is impeccably furnished by renowned Plantation Interiors, one of the area’s finest interior designers. From the natural oak floors to the Sub Zero and Bosch appliances, the cottage has an upscale yet cozy look and feel. Barbecue your favorite meal on the Weber grill, sit and dine on the comfortable screened-in porch, then watch the large wall mounted porch TV, or simply drink in the smell of the fragrant wax myrtles swaying in the cooling pond breezes. There are numerous restaurants in Palmetto Bluff, and charming RT’s Market is just a few steps away. Many guests like to cook on the Wolf gas stove, savor their own creations and decompress after a day of fun.

Palmetto Bluff is midway between Savannah and Hilton Head Island, so if you wish to explore the beautiful Lowcountry, our spacious cottage is ideally located. Many visitors come for a relaxing getaway weekend or a leisurely month in summer. Close by is the rustic town of Old Bluffton, one of the fastest growing communities in the South, which allows guests a glimpse of Southern living from a bygone era. But generally, guests find there’s no reason to venture out of the Bluff. Some select the day’s adventure by horseback riding at the 173 acre Longfield Stables or recreational clay shooting at Palmetto Bluff Shooting Club. For a more sedate excursion, how about a leisurely cruise aboard the antique yacht ‘Grace,’ while she sails the May River as dolphins swim alongside. After all that fun, revitalize by visiting the Cottage Spa, run by the celebrated Montage Resorts. We await your visit and hope you get a chance to savor this Southern retreat.
