Description from owner

Tide Walk has just opened up for the month of May. Our Winter Special applies through May 19: Rent two nights for $345 (2 people) or $385 (4 people) and get a third night free. Or rent a week before the Spring Season and get two free nights.

The Spring Season will then run May 20 through June 16 at $850/week or $165/night with a two-night minimum.

Tide Walk cape is nestled in trees near our Linekin Bay ocean cove with pebble beach, 3 mi from Boothbay Harbor, and 2 miles from Ocean Point and open ocean. Occupancy is for four people. Free Wi-Fi. Send us a text or email for booking information.

Enter the cozy living room with cute wood stove, an antique trunk as coffee table, teal colored sofa, padded bench, comfy wing-backed chair, and, of course, a TV. A large opening guides you through to the group-centric kitchen which is fully equipped with a gas cook stove, microwave, dishwasher, and refrigerator. All pots and pans, dishes and utensils are provided including a lobster pot. The four high-backed swivel chairs invite you to relax at the large center island work space, while the south facing sliding glass door draws your eye through to the trees surrounding the property. An airy deck and picnic table beckon you to enjoy the outside.

Also downstairs is another sitting room and a good sized bath with shower. Choices of seating in the living room and den, both with TV's, will envelop you in comfort; the kitchen dining area will easily handle four people. Ample spaces for togetherness, yet plenty of cozy nooks for alone time add to the relaxation of your vacation.

Tide Walk cape has upstairs two bedrooms with vaulted ceilings and a complete bath. The yellow room has a queen bed, while the nautical room is furnished with two twins that can be put together to form a king on advance request. You will find Tide Walk to be a delightful respite in rural East Boothbay on Paradise Point Road. It is not ON the water, but nearby!

Tide Walk is located just a 5-minute stroll from our pebble beach on the cove where the water warms in summer as it comes in over sun-drenched pebbles making it more pleasant for swimming. It is a small, safe cove where children can spend hours in and out of the water exploring and searching out the creatures that abound along the Maine coast. The Maine State Aquarium, maine.gov/dmr/rm/aquarium, is located in Boothbay Harbor and is open from Memorial Day until Columbus day. You can go there to find out what to search for when you come back to our cove.

This little inlet is also a great place to store and launch your kayaks or ours. By signing our release you will have the use of our three personal kayaks and our rowboat on a haul out. Our bay is wonderful for kayaking with lots of coastline to explore and no rivers emptying into it, thus no strong currents. If you have need of a deep water mooring for your own boat, we can do that as well.

All rates shown are our DISCOUNTED PRICES for payment only by cash, e-check, or paper check; to pay by any other method, please inquire for our regular seasonal rates and let us know what method you prefer to use. We now have the ability to accept payment by e-check (Quick Pay, ClearXchange) directly from your bank to ours. One-half our discounted total rent is payable in advance as a deposit to hold your time; the remainder is due on arrival.

CANCELLATION: If you are unable to keep your reservation, you must give us at least 30 days notice in advance of your arrival date. If we are able to re-rent your stay you may RESCHEDULE at another available time, or you may have a refund less a $100 re-booking fee.

“Vacation at Tidewalk - East Boothbay Harbor, Maine”

Reviewed 27 Sep 2016

Tidewalk is a lovely cape situated on a quiet road and just a short walk to a lovely area where we sat by the water watching fishing boats and enjoying the gorgeous view. The house was bright and airy with plenty of room and homey touches (including beautiful art by Mary Ellen) and included all the amenities we needed. Boothbay Harbor was just minutes away and a great general store which serves fabulous homemade pizza and scrumptious breakfast muffins was just around the corner. The owners, Mary Ellen and Ron were such a nice couple and made us feel right at home. Don’t miss visiting Mary Ellen’s studio - her paintings are well worth a visit ! We definitely hope to return next year!

Owner's reply: Tide Walk is our cozy cape just a short stroll up the road from the water. We appreciate guests finding pleasure in the amenities the Boothbay area has to offer. Here's to many happy returns!

“Delightful cottage”

Reviewed 25 Jul 2016

Tide Walk is a two bedroom cottage on a beautiful and quite street. The kitchen is large enough and very clean. We ate most of our meals there. The cottage was very clean and the families in the homes located near the cottage were very friendly. The street the cottage is located on is very quiet and secluded. Thinking about going back next year.
