NEW YORK TIMES - 36 Hours in Denver
New York Times published a great article on what to do while you're in Denver for a few days.

Pearl Street
Unlike most U.S. malls, Pearl Street is largely populated by locally-owned shops. As a result, the mall offers many charming products that are unique to Boulder. Visitors will find an assortment of clothing stores, boutique shops, jewelry stores and other outlets.
As well as being a fascinating place to browse, the Pearl Street Mall is also beautful to behold, with a number of fine artistic flourishes. Distinctive artworks are scattered throughout the area, including fountains and sculptures. There are also immaculately-tended gardens that are home to many beautiful flowers and trees.
In the evenings, much of Boulder's nightlife can be found socializing at Pearl Street. During the summer, street performers and musicians entertain visitors in this thriving district.
