Six couples stayed at the lodge for 3 nights. Every single one of us were very happy with this property. The kitchen was large & the floor plan allowed for several people to be in there working Or grabbing something out of the fridge! We all enjoyed sitting out on the deck each morning & evening. The setting was super private, surrounded by trees & lake view. The location was convenient to anything the group wanted to do. We would stay there again!
This place is more than beautiful! We absolutely loved how roomy and spacious it was. We will definitely be staying again.
“A Fabulous Home”
From the moment you walk in you feel right at home. The home is very spacious and has everything you need. The view is breathtaking. We will definitely be going back
We had 15 adults and 10 children on this stay. All stayed comfortable at the wonderful lodge. Loved the large patios and the spacious kitchen and great room. The table was so large all 25 of us could sit at it.
“What a lovely experience!”
We visit this lovely lodge for 5 days in May and found the experience to totally satisfying. The owners were very welcoming and helpful and the place was a beautiful lodge well furnished with great views and direct access to the lake. Very peaceful and well worth every cent we paid. We will be going back!!
“Red Elk Lodge March 2011 Spring Break”
The Red Elk Lodge accommodations were spacious and beautiful. Just the place to complete a wonderful Spring Break trip. The only thing lacking was a hot tub in which to soak our sore muscles.
“Perfect in Every Way”
My family and I chose to celebrate my parents' 50th wedding anniversary by renting Hideaway Haven for a few days. The experience was one that we will surely repeat in the future. The generous space of the home allowed us to spend time together as well as enjoy quiet solitude. The location was secluded, yet not too far from the attractions Branson has to offer. The kitchens (there are two!) were well equipped. The beds were comfortable. The bathrooms were clean with plenty of towels. All in all, it was a wonderful place to stay.
“Red Elk Lodge = AWESOME WEEKEND”
I hosted a scrapbooking retreat for 13 women at the Red Elk Lodge May 13-16, 2010. I can't say enough great things about the lodge!! Absolutely stunning kitchen and huge dining area and great room combination!! Plenty of room for all of us and all our supplies! Love the addition of the new staircase connecting the upper level to the lower level. Also loved the fact that there were only 2-3 steps to get into the main level of the lodge. This place is almost too big to call a cabin! 3 of the 6 bedrooms are huge, 1 medium size and 2 small rooms, but all with king size beds and dressers. With the 4 sleeper sofas there is plenty of room for everyone! The location on the lake was perfect and if we had allowed our husbands to join us they would have be in heaven fishing all day long. We were able to see huge fish in the lake from the deck. The cabin was only about 10-12 minutes from Branson Landing and Hwy 65. The roads were paved all the way to the driveway. The lodge is on a dead end road and we only saw one car pass the entire by the entire time. I loved that we did not have to go down the busy portion of Hwy 76/Country Blvd to access the cabin but it was also easy to access the popular areas of Branson. The owner was great to work with and had great communication. I am hoping we will be able to hold the retreat here again next year!! You won't be sorry if you selected the Red Elk Lodge!! Tammy White
“Red Elk October 09”
We stayed at the lodge Oct 2-4. My parents were celebrating their 50th wedding aniversary and renewed their vows at the lodge. It was the perfect setting and we all had a great time. We would recommend this location to anyone.
Owner Supplied Testimonials
The Cabin is awesome! The beds are extremely comfortable. Kitchen was very functionable and open for lots of family fun!
Branson landing was very nice and great shopping. The Mexican restaurant "Cantina Loredo" or something like that...on the Landing had great food!
Gill up restaurant and Whipper Snappers were not someting we would recommend. Go Carts were fun but long lines.
Fishing was relaxing. Lake was fun! Cold, but fun!
Shopping was awesome! Great finds.
The Cabin was overall Very nice and open!
The Lodge is very large and accomodated our family very well. The Lodge is very secluded and quiet.
Beware of deer on the road at dusk.
The Lodge is just as advertised - Great! The interior is fantastic, especially cooking in the incredible kitchen while the family relaxes in the great room or on the deck.
I loved how secluded the location was. It was a very quiet and relaxing setting that really allowed you to kick back and enjoy your vacation, time off, or whatever. Having the boat launch so nearby was a plus as well, you could launch your boat and drive it right up to the shore behind the house to load up your supplies for your day out on the lake. The furnishings inside were very impressive, the photos just dont do the inside of that place justice. A very large common room/dining area with a huge TV that you can even watch from the table. And with nice big soft beds in all the rooms it didnt matter which room you were in, you were gonna be comfortable when you laid down to go to sleep. The Branson strip wasnt too far away either so if you wanted to go shopping or have a night on the town its not that far of a drive. Overall it was a great place to stay. Great location, amazing furnishings, and the price isnt bad either considering that the house sleeps 20 people. More than worth it for everything your getting.
My family and I had so much FUN. The Red Elk Lodge home was so BEAUTIFUL. When we first walked into the home we were "speechless." The floor plan was very open. Lots of room for everything and everyone. The air conditioner in the home was SUPER GREAT. When my family and I go back to Branson we will definately stay at The Red Elk Lodge.
Just returned from a wonderful stay at the Red Elk Lodge. It is a beautiful home. We truly enjoyed all the beautiful scenery that surrounded the house. We had to families ( 2 adults and 2 children) in each family and the home worked great for us. One family stayed upstairs and one family stayed downstairs. The access to downstairs is outside so you need adults to stay downstairs with the children. The area is very remote and cellphones do not work. You might plan for this. Loved working with the owner and hope to stay at his property again in the future.
Oh my goodness! This place is awesome! Me and my family Loved everything about this Red Elk Lodge home. We liked the big openess of the house. My daughters wheelchair was "free" to roam around. She did not go down stairs though. My 2 older children liked the Suite downstairs. The beds felt great (Super Comfy).
Silver Dollar City was fun. Dixie Stampede and Branson Showboat was fun also. Branson Landing was great food and shopping.
We had a Great, Super Fun week.

Wow,, what can I say, we were away from all of the noise of tourism but it was "right around the corner". The location was perfect! The lodge was spacious and comfortable with great decor. It fit perfectly with our group.
Michael was so easy to communicate with and we appreciate all of his work and graciousness. The directions provided were easy to follow and check-in/check-out was no problem.
All-in-all, a perfect trip - one of our favorite places.
