Welcome to Morning Star; a 3 bedroom, 3.5 bath custom log cabin with hot tub tucked into the forest about 3 miles south of Breckenridge. The peacefulness of the surrounding pine trees will whisk you away to unwind from a day of exciting adventures.

The Main Level combines the Kitchen, Dining Area and Living Area with a stunning river rock two-sided gas fireplace as the centerpiece that also serves as a nice divider between the spaces. The kitchen features a convenient island offering plenty of space and a unique AGA stove / heat storage oven which will heighten your cooking endeavor! Please be aware that this unique stove is always HOT and instructions on how to operate are provided.

The Living Area offers vaulted ceilings, TV and is surrounded by windows so you can enjoy the outdoors from inside! Sink into the brand new cozy sectional sofa or challenge your family to a game of cards at the game table.

The Main Level is also where you’ll find the Star of the Forest King Bedroom Suite which is a spacious and serene escape offering private deck access, a sitting area and large bathroom offering dual vanities, a large jetted tub and separate walk-in shower.

All rooms on the main level offer easy access to any of the private decks where you can escape in a good book, soak in the private outdoor hot tub or just enjoy the sounds of nature. You’ll also find the BBQ gas grill on the deck off of the kitchen.

Walk upstairs to find a cozy loft overlooking the living area with TV, shuffleboard table and queen futon! Down the hall you’ll find the Evergreen Queens Suite (2 queen beds) and the Bear in the Pines Bunk (2 captain’s bunks) each with ensuite baths.

Morning Star is on the 2019/2020 Paragon Guest Courtesy Winter Shuttle. Operations run from mid-November through mid-April between the hours of 7:30 AM until 5:30 PM. Transportation runs throughout the Town of Breckenridge. Please inquire within for additional details.

Evergreen Queens Suite: sleeps 2-4 in two queen beds, ensuite bath with tub/shower

Bear in the Pines Bunk: sleeps 4-6 in 2 full bunks and one bunk with full on bottom and twin on top, ensuite bath with shower

Star of the Forest: sleeps 2 in one king bed, ensuite bath with shower and tub bath

ABOUT THE AREA

Just south of Breck’s iconic Main Street sits Blue River, a peaceful riverside community focused on preserving natural beauty. You’ll discover endless outdoor adventures in Blue River, year-round including hiking/biking and fishing in the summer months and snowshoeing in winter. The nearby Mohawk Lakes are the perfect place to scope out wildlife and get your daily outdoor adventure checked off.

Breckenridge is easily accessible by car (or shuttle!) in minutes. While staying at Morning Star you can easily walk to the end of the road to the Blue River Commuter stop, #115, utilized through the Summit Stage shuttle stop in less than 5 minutes.

We ask that you please respect the wildlife that is present in Blue River – keep plenty of distance and do not offer any food.
