Owner Supplied Testimonials

We stayed at this property for a long weekend of skiing with three other couples (8 of us in total) , and we had a great time.
Connie was wonderful--she accommodated our request for an early check-in, which allowed us to make the most of our first day of vacation; very detailed instructions and labels throughout the space. Furnishings are simple and very well-maintained--photos of the posting are accurate. Lots of cooking/dining utensils, so we were able to cook and eat in. The dining options close by are good as well.
We really enjoyed spending our evenings in the living room--nice view of the mountain from the upstairs common area, and the fireplace was nice though we didn't use it.
Tip: If you are staying here to ski and plan to rent equipment, would suggest renting from a Peak 9 location. It's a short 10-minute walk, and most shops will let you store equipment overnight. We walked everywhere and didn't need the shuttle.

I rented this house for my family - 5 adults and 3 children. Everything was perfect. There were games for the kids to play, and the hot tub was a huge hit with everyone! The kitchen was well equipped. Beds were comfortable. The house is close to town and we were able to wAlk there easily. We took the gondola up to the Peak 7 and snow shoed. The peak was closed to skiers that day. We also went into Frisco and participated in the Thanksgiving Day turkey trot. We also went to the tubing hill there. Lots of fun! I would recommend this property to anyone who wants a great place to stY in Breckenridge. There was a washer and dryer which came in very handy with kids!

This was a girls getaway for 3 of us - perfect house and location! House was very clean, well laid out with bedrooms on a separate level. Parking/access was easy and the neighborhood was lovely. 3 block walk to town and restaurants. Connie had a bowl of maps/info waiting for us with lots of helpful ideas - loved the personal journal where guests could leave a person note! Enough bathrooms for all - having washer/dryer was a bonus! Kitchen was great to use and everything worked perfectly! Connie was a pleasure to work with -- highly recommend this property! This is a well cared for property and it shows! Thanks Connie for a great getaway weekend!

This home was really perfect for us and our two grown children and their spouses. We were able to walk anywhere around town very easily from the house and yet it was located in a quiet residential area. Connie was very good to communicate with and we couldn't have asked for a better place. Spacious kitchen, dining and living areas as well as bedrooms. Beds very comfortable. We really enjoyed it!

Clean, quiet, very well equipped. Group of six adults and we were not crowded at all. Location is convenient to stores and restaurants. Shuttle to slopes is short walk. Connie was very helpful and prompt. If we return to Breck we will stay here again.

Our 2 adult daughters and their husbands, and the grand daughter, recently spent a fabulous week of skiing, sledding, and hot tubbing in SnowLover Lodge. The house itself is awesome with a large general family room/dining/kitchen upstairs with all the TV/internet amenities. The bedrooms were perfect: a double with bunkbeds for the family with kids, and 2 other bedrooms for the other 2 married units. The hot tub was right out the back door so we didn't have to walk far in the snow! Good planning. Connie was very responsive to a minor repair, and immediately had someone over to deal with it. Breck itself is a great young family location with day care for the 2 year old at the base of the slopes, and lots of kid things to do. Staying in Connie's house in the middle of the historic district meant that we were 1 1/2 blocks from the ski bus, and walking distance to shops, Main Street, and great restaurants. All good with a toddler whose schedule we worked around. We would all like to return to the house for a summer getaway as well! We will definitely return to this property.

Excellent location for restraunts, grocery store, downtown, carter park. Perfect for families with kids.

I planned a "guys" fishing trip to Breckenridge and all of us were very happy with the house. The description was accurate and the house was very clean. We actually felt the house was larger than what the pictures showed and we were very pleased with the size of the bedrooms. It is close to all of the restaurants and shopping but on a side street and very quiet at night. Connie was great and we would definitely visit again!

There were three generations of our family sharing the house and everyone was happy thanks to Connie!

I stayed here recently with some friends and have nothing but good things to say about the place and owner. Connie was very easy to get ahold of and very accommodating. The place was centrally located and was everything that you see in the pictures and read in the description. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Very nice home in town Breckenridge, convenient to bus line to the slopes and downtown, private hot tub, lots of room, well furnished, great view of the mountain. Felt like we were staying in our own home. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location. plenty of parking and sleeping accommodations. Will rent again.

Our stay was so comfortable. Very convenient and fast for the shuttle. Kitchen well stocked with staples which helped us cook great meals. I wouldn't change anything and will be back next ski season with more snow we hope.

Great ski house! Our extended family of nine (3 generations) stayed for six nights during the Christmas holiday, we were very comfortable. The house is well furnished, well equipped, with large living spaces. Close to ski shuttle bus, shops and restaurants. The views are fantastic, we especially enjoyed watching the New Year's Eve fireworks show from the huge picture window, it was incredible! Very nice and quiet neighborhood, just a few blocks from Main Street. Owner was very helpful & responsive.

We stayed at the house for two nights in June. We shared the house with friends. Five kids under the age of 7 (two babies). We loved the location of the house. It was a quick walk to the main street and the school playground just down the block was a big hit! Waking up to the mountain views was so wonderful. The house was pretty kid friendly. We were able to block off the stairs to babyproof and the bedrooms were far enough apart that even though our baby cried in the night, the other family didn't hear. Theirs cried as well and we didn't hear a thing. The kitchen was very well stocked with plates, bowls and utencils so we didn't need to bring anything like that with us. The bedrooms were roomy and the bunkbeds were fun for our older boys. There was plenty of room for everyone. We're already looking forward to our next vacation!

Very cute house. The owners provided everything to enhance our stay and were nothing but helpful through out the process. The home is in a great location with easy access to anything you could imagine. Highly recommend this property.

Another wonderful summer month. We have stayed several years for a month in the summer and it is great. Hiking, golf, biking or sitting in the hot tub after a long day. Location is perfect as we walked either way for hours of hiking or biking. Guided hikes by locals were very informational and we went to local plays and concerts. The house is less than 5 minutes away from morning coffee, grocery store or dinner sitting outside watching the sunset. Kitchen is stocked so meals are easy and fun to fix. The bedroom was nice and cool and it was perfect sleeping weather. We bought our fruit, vegetables and pastas at the local farmers markets. Each evening we would walk around town and look for the fox near the artists section and see what was going on in town. We can't wait to get back for our "relaxing" time.

I have to say that the Breckenridge home was truly as you described! You answered all my questions honestly. I have stayed at many rentals before I bought our cabin in 1997 and even after that time I have rented places at Whistler, Keystone, Park City, Sun Valley and Steamboat. Some places were admittedly nicer but the price was reflective of that. Your home is very comfortable and it appears that you have thought of everything when it comes to cooking, cleaning or even finding a screwdriver to tight the binding on my son's snowboard! Your place is thoughtfully decorated and we enjoyed looking at all the nuances you added to make it interesting. We especially loved the fact that, with the bedrooms on the bottom floor, we didn't have to fight carrying up a flight of stairs all our heavy luggage. The spa was a joy...and the fact that we could count on it being hot and clean was an added bonus. The heat worked and so did the fire place...when needed. The home was clean but you didn't feel like it was the run-of-the-mill type of rental. My boyfriend doesn't ski or board so he was home more than we were. He said he felt right at home and would rent your home again. The convenience of being close to Main Street was as described. Thanks for you and your sisters' hard work to make our vacation enjoyable. This was one of the best vacations we ever had! By the way, it feels much bigger than described.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How far are the slopes?
A: The blue bus stops about a block and a half away on French St. It comes every 20 minutes and can be taken either direction to Peak 9 and 10, or to the gondola which goes to peaks 7 and 8. The purple and orange buses come every 30 miuntes and go to the gondola, meaning that any wait is usually less than 20 minutes. It takes about 4 minutes to walk to the bus stop in ski boots.
Q: How far is downtown?
A: It is a 3 block walk to the center of downtown.
Q: Where should I ski?
A: We know this mountain like the back of our hand. Tell us what you are looking for and we can help you.
Q: Can I bike here?
A: Yes! We have bike storage in our shed. You can leave from our house and go any direction on your mountain or road bike. Dirt roads and single track abound. There is an easy paved path going to Frisco, Copper Mountain and on to Vail. Carter Park, the start and finish of many events is one block away.
Q: How is your wifi?
A: It is dish network and we find it fast enough to stream movies.
