Description of the Brewster vacation cottage rental
Our cottage, circa 1920, is in a self-contained private community with its own tennis courts (adjacent to the cottage), playground, and a private beach with a lifeguard. The beach, on the bayside offers warmer, calmer water than the National Seashore, which is only a 25 minute ride away. You may have the unusual opportunity to see the tide recede for one mile and walk out on the sand flats.

The cottage has a classic Cape Cod weathered exterior and an exposed wood walls/ceilings interior with seafaring décor. The cottage is equipped with a VCR/DVD, small clothes washer/dryer, microwave, fans, heaters, barbeque grill, wifi connection, all kitchen equipment, antique iron claw bathtub, outdoor enclosed shower. The three bedrooms sleep 4, plus a queen size pullout sofa and a bunkhouse that sleeps 2.

You can relax on the front porch, hammock, or in front of the fireplace. Or you can explore the unspoiled village of historic Brewster, the home of numerous sea captains, a great bike trail, numerous antique stores and restaurants. In July, there are free supervised recreational and social activities for kids.

Area Information
Brewster Park is a private community approximately 100 years old, with 75 cottages. There is one entrance, thus insuring quiet and safety, especially for children. The cottage is adjacent to a nature preserve and across the street from the tennis courts. The beach is an 8 minute walk away, on the bayside with warmer, calmer water than at the National Seashore.

The quiet town of Brewster is unspoiled by development. It was the home of the most number of sea captains in New England and Helen Keller also vacationed there. There are numerous antique stores and restaurants, Victorian homes, a great bike trail and fresh water ponds to swim in. It is conveniently located in the mid-Cape with Provincetown 50 minutes to the north and Hyannis 25 minutes to the south.
