Step Back in Time

August 25, 2014

Whereaway is a sweet getaway by the sea. My husband and I appreciated the natural beauty and tranquility of the setting around this lovely, comfortably furnished, mid-century home with breath-taking views of the Eggemoggin Reach from both the living and dining areas. By day, we sat on the lawn leading down to the shore as sailboats at anchor lapped lazily with the tide. In the evening, we relaxed by an open fire. Outdoors, the night sky revealed the Milky Way and a canvas of brilliant stars--something we city folk rarely get to enjoy. It was a treat to take a step back in time to a place where the pace of life is slower and the pleasures are richer.
