Kenny is a great host/landlord. He showed us around the neighborhood when we got there. The exterior/stairway of the building is undergoing renovation, but the actual apartment was very nice and clean. When we arrived, one of the two heaters wasn't working, but Kenny fixed it while we were gone and it was fine for the rest of our stay. The kitchen is fully equipped and has a full size fridge. The apartment isn't huge, but the bedroom is large and there is plenty of closet/drawer space. It seems like the place is in a great neighborhood, there's a couple of good restaurants, a grocery store, and everyone we met/passed by was friendly. Definitely a good deal for the price. The only downside was that the internet was a little spotty (one night we couldn't access it at all). So if you are planning on researching some stuff to do while you are in NY, it might be a good idea to do that before you go just in case.
