Description of the Brownfield vacation cabin rental
A new log cabin, decorated in an antique western motif, located on 50 acres in a quiet rural region of the White Mountains. Hiking , skiing and snowshoeing trails right on property. Trout stream; superb biking -- both road and mountain biking, no traffic! If you like outdoor activities in an unspoiled setting, this is the place for you!

The interior of the Brookside Cabin affords an open floor plan with plenty of light and space for everyone to move around in comfortable surroundings. Meals can be shared in a fully equipped kitchen and dinng area or, in good weather, on the picnic tale on the deck overlooking the surrounding forests. Moose and deer have been spotted from this vantage point. We have a large video library and lots of old Look and Life magazines to peruse through. The nearby (3 miles) Stone Mountain Arts Center offers top notch entertainment every week

Pet friendly; pooch will love the forests, fields and brooks to romp in. We also have a new barn and paddocks for equine lodging. Guest are welcome to help themselves to our organic gardens -- corn, tomatoes, beans, beets, herbs, etc - when in season.
Area Information
We are located 10 miles outside Conway -- close enough for the shops and restaurants the Mt.Washington Valley but far enough to enjoy the region without the traffic, congestion and noise. There are hikiing trails galore -- to Foss Mountain , renouned for the raptor migration that takes place there in the spring and fall. There is the Brownfield Bog Wildlife Sanctuary which offers excellent opportunities for kayaking and bird watching. There are also several smaller communities in the surrounding area that offer great antiquing without the high prices of the Mt. Washington Valley.

Topeka Cabin at Foothills Bed, Breakfast &Cabins

April 30, 2016

We originally tried to book the log cabin, but it had already been booked, so we were offered the Topeka cabin instead. The Topkeka cabin is closer to the inn area, yet remains very private. The cabin is charming, furnished with some antiques and interesting memorabilia and is perfect for a couple or small family. It was perfect for my husband and I, as well as our two small poodles. There is a beautiful walking trail just behind the property, which we enjoyed. At the end of the field nearby, is a beautiful sitting area along the brook which is perfect for times of much needed solitude or meditation. The cabin was very clean and contained all that one would need for the comforts of home. The fridge is small (dorm-size) with a very small freezer compartment, so we used our cooler to hold some of our items. The owners, Kevin and Terry were very welcoming and lovely. We would definitely recommend this cabin for a vacation getaway. It was very relaxing and beautiful.

Owner's reply:

Hi Rachelle and Steve,

Thank you for a lovely review and so glad you enjoyed yourselves. We hardly knew you were next door. Thank you for leaving the cabin IMMACULATE . Your poodles are adorable and I enjoyed watching Steve flying his drone. First time I've seen one close up.

Hope to see you again in the future.

Best Regards,

Kevin and Terry

Nice Property

July 14, 2014

I stayed for two weeks at the Cabin while attending the Fox Maple Timber Framing classes. The cabin was clean, quiet and offered all the amenities of home while also offering the convenience of a kitchen so I could cook meals versus going into town every night. Kevin and Theresa were excellent hosts. Everything was handled in a quick and professional manner. I would recommend this property to any looking to stay in the area.

Owner's reply:
