Reviews for this vacation home rental in Brunswick, Georgia

We recently stayed in this lovely cottage! It was well stocked and beautifully appointed. The town is very close by and the ferry is just minutes away. The owners have made vacationing easy! You really just need to show up with your clothes and toothbrush! would stay again!

The property sits on train tracks, the home has several inches of dust under the beds, the neighborhood is certainly not the safest and the doors do not lock securely. The owner is only interested in collecting your money as when we departed and left an item, (mirror) he refused to return it even after we drove all the way back to collect it. We offered to pick it up from the mailbox and he claimed to be away when he had offered to meet us at the bank the same day to collect cash versus the credit card online payment! We love St. Mary's and have stayed in B&B's many times and this was our first attempt to rent a home, wow...won't make this mistake again due to people like Chuck! Keep looking folks as this place is pretty scarey! I have used VRBO for 15 years and this has been our only horrible experience...Stay at Spencer House, Gingerbread House or Emma's B&B not in this home...You will be much safer and more content with your experiencing this fabulous area.
Roger & Evaughn Salminen , Goodrich, Michigan We enjoyed our stay here. House is in a quiet, friendly neighborhood and is neat and very clean. Downtown St Marys has a beautiful waterfront park and resturants and bars for most every taste. Night life is minimal, but available within a 30 minute drive.
, albion, michigan We stayed at this home in february 2009. The location is fabulous overlooking the salt marsh at sunset. Neighborhood is quiet and friendly. All furnishings were excellent and the house was decorated with the touch of home. Owner was courteous and available and responsive to our needs. The yard is spacious with orange and grapefruit trees. If you would like a quiet restful vacation with day trips/activities nearby, this is the place for you.
Gerry and Pat , Renfrew Ontario Stayed here for month of January 2009.Nice and quite and lovely surroundings. Very clean accommodations and close to all amenities. Will come back again and enjoyed our stay.
I stayed in this wonderful cottage for a little over one month (Sept/October) as I finished up my duty at Kings Bay Sub Base while my family relocated. It was much more comfortable than any hotel or base housing. As an officer and CO, I would recomend this cottage to anyone needing temporary arrangements or interim living while they are relocating or visiting the area. It was impecably clean and very close to the historic downtown district. Highly Recomended!
Tarica , Leander/TX My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our month there! We were so close to the beach, the town of St. Marys is so quaint, quiet and their 4th of July is like straight out of a Norman Rockwell painting! I highly recommend anyone visiting the east coast for the first time to stay here. There are plenty of fun activities for the whole family!
Angie and Jay Moore , Kingsland, GA We stayed in the cottage for almost a month during our recent PCS. The cottage is clean and thoughtfully appointed with everything you could need to make your stay pleasant. If you are so inclined, you can enjoy your morning coffee while watching the birds from the screened porch, or spend evenings on the bridge down the road peering at the various creatures who inhabit the marsh. The cottage is wonderful, the proprietors couldn't be nicer, and the neighbors are a delight. The cottage is a wonderful, affordable alternative to a hotel. We highly recommend it if you plan to visit St Marys.
Mark and Rita , Elkhart, IN A wonderful city with wonderful accomodations. We had a great weeklong stay and would recommend the cottage to anyone. It was very nice and very clean. We enjoyed our walks to the historic downtown riverfront. We plan to be back.
