While inside, you will enjoy the upscale log and leather furnishings. The kitchen is fully equipped with all appliances and granite counter top. The loft doubles as a game room by day and extra sleeping at night. The master bedroom features a king size bed, a sleeper if you want to have the kids in with you, and both a fireplace and TV. Our stay at Native Winds cabin was amazing!! We saw a mother bear with her baby walking through the woods and hummingbirds galore! The privacy was exactly what we wanted. The hot tub on the deck was a perfect place to unwind each evening. The cabin is decorated beautifully and is equipped with everything you would need to feel like you are at home. We are already planning our next trip there!!

Dear Mike and Collette - Our two families have enjoyed our mountain retreat. Your cabin was absolutely perfect for our group. We admired the decor and the layout amidst the breathtaking location with scenic views. During our stay, we visited Dry Falls, deep Creek Falls, Gatlinburg and Cherokee. We enjoyed home cooked meals as well as some local eateries. It was such a pleasure walking in the area with the dog among the beautiful foliage as well as watching the sun rise and set over the mountaintops across the way. Thank you for opening your gorgeous but cozy home. Looking forward to returning but thankful for memories on film for now. :)

What a beautiful and serene place to spend our vacation! We fished at Coopers creek Trout Farm, shopped at Cherokee, ate at Jimmy Mac's and rode the Polar Express. the weather was gorgeous!

The cabin is so beautiful, and the leaves presented their brightest colors just in time. Train ride, long walks, Clingmon's Dome, Deep Creek and the town were just wonderful! On our last day, we did the 3 hour Zip Line! The weather was gorgeous the entire time. I wish I could have stayed longer!

We thouroughly enjoyed this cabin and our mountain vacation. It was raining and foggy when we arrived, but when the clouds finally cleared the next afternoon, we were in awe of the beautiful mountain view that was revealed!! During our stay, we drove to Fontana Dam, hiked in the Deep Creek area, drove through cherokee and the Great Smoky Mountain National Park and did the Zip Line Canopy Tours (lots of fun)! We were also amazed to see snow in the higher elevations in the park on our last day. This was a wonderful vacation and a great cabin! We especially loved the Hot Tub and Monopoly (with electronic banking), as well as the foozball table.

Thank you for letting us stay in your lovely cabin! The view is so lovely and seeing the sunset over the mountains was truly amazing. We also saw lots of deer 6 bucks (male deer) and one fawn (baby deer). We also went white water rafting on the Nantahala river. Thank you again for the letting us stay in your lovely cabin.

Native Winds is a wonderful place to stay in the mountains of NC. I appreciated the spectacular view, the fully stocked kitchen (even included a vegetable steamer!), gorgeous rustic furniture, and the hot tub. It is a wonderful place to come get away from it all. We went to the Smokey Mtn. National Park almost everyday we were here and enjoyed white water rafting, tubing, and shopping in Cherokee. It was good to eat at our home town restaurant of Jimmy Mac's (founded in Tampa) as well.

What an AWESOME cabin! We absolutely loved it here. It was the perfect honeymoon for us. We ran down to the base of the mountain here & ran back up (1.1 miles) OUCH! We mountain biked the Mouse Branch & Thompson Loops over at Tsali & hiked up Mt. Le Conte via the Alum Cave Bluff trail (11 miles round trip!) We loved every minute of our time here & we don't want to go home to the city:(. The views here are spectacular & the cabin is beautiful! Thank you!!

We had a great week here! We loved the cabin & the Bryson City area. We shopped in Cherokee & Asheville, rode roller coasters at Carowinds (long drive!), floated down Deep Creek and kayaked the Tuckaseegee River. This has been a perfect home away from home & we are sad to leave. We're going back with lots of life experience & good memories though. . . . Thanks, y'all!

What a wonderful week here at your cabin. The view is simply breathtaking. Also, we enjoyed the surprising Spring snow storm. With the 4 inches that fell, we built a tiny snowman & reveled in the beauty of the mountain blanked in white. We don't see much snow in Florida!

What an awesome reminder of all that God created for us! We watched the sunrise every morning. . . .So beautiful. We visited Cherokee, NC...saw the Cherokee museum(it was ok)...and shopped at the little gift shops. We ate at "Paul's"-it was great--great burgers! We golfed at Smoky Mountain Country Club-absolutely gorgeous! (Wish we played a better game of golf though:)..In Bryson City we ate at "Jimmy Mac's"-good-and the Mexican Restaurant-also good. We finished up with watching the sunrise in the hot tub...Fabulous time! BEAUTIFUL CABIN!

What a breath of fresh air! If it wasn't enough to arrive at this location, the real bonus was entering the appropriately decorated abode with all the creature comforts and then some. We felt "Hugged" as we wakjed in. It's evident that you put your heart and soul into "Native Winds" and we feel blessed to have had the opportunity to enjoy a memorable weekend here.

I love your mountain home. The decor is outstanding and it was fun to visit some of the shops where you bought each accessory. The beds are so cozy and I love the "bear" blankets. Of all the places our group has stayed, this was the best and most comfortable. It's All Good!

Thank you for a truly AWESOME weekend-from the scary ride up the mountain at night, to the snow flurries on Sunday morning. And how could we forget to mention all the great food. Your home is beautiful and decorated with excellent taste. Thank you for sharing this experience with all of your "friends". God Bless & enjoy many, many years of happiness in your home away from home. Love, Paulette

O Lord-how majestic is your name in all the earth! To watch the sunrise and pop right up over the mountain was spectacular! A thin layer of ice on the table looked like diamond dust from Heaven and then on Sunday morning, it snowed! What a warm and friendly home you-the Picketts have provided! Thank you for sharing your blessings with others!

Wow what a gorgeous view! We enjoyed watching the sunrise from the hot tub every morning! Your cabin is beautifully decorated and exceeded our expectations! We hope to come back soon!

My husband and I are interested in the area. We would love to buy a cabin in the woods. Our realtor, Marty with Prudential insisted we see what a finished product looks like. Marty told us you had decorated the cabin, but I thougtht it was professionally done! Loved it. You have wonderful taste. Enjoyed the view and the cabin.
The Hembrees

Happy New Year! We truly enjoyed our stay at your lovely cabin-being able to bring our family member, Dexter, the dog, made it a real family vacation. We would like to compliment you on your choice of quality furnishings and decor-it felt like more than simply a "rental". We enjoyed relaxing here and hiking on the Appalachian Trail.

Loved the decor of the cabin-from the bronze fixtures to the table lamps. It is so nice to find a rental that is this clean and has the amenities of home. What a view! I wish we had been here with the fall leaves. Merry Christmas!

What a wonderful cabin! With our three young children, the layout of this cabin was perfect. The fire kept us warm when it snowed during our stay. We enjoyed waterfalls, gem mining at Gold City, the GSM Train Museum and our ride on the Polar Express! We travel to the mountains every year and love every cabin, but this one takes the prize! Thank you for a lovely stay. See you next year
