Description from manager

The views are just absolutely stunning at this 18th century villa in Tuscany. While you and your friends and family are lounging at your private swimming pool, you’ll be able to gaze out into the countryside and watch the sunset over a beautiful backdrop you’ve only ever imagined. Also keep in mind that food shops and a train station are just a short walk away and the Chianti (and all its wine!) is just a short drive away!

This 18th century villa was once used as a hunting preserve and features two stone towers. It’s situated in a sunny location amidst olive groves and enjoys extensive views over the surrounding landscape as well as the Chianti Classico hills. There is a patio just outside the villa as well as a garden with a barbecue, table with chairs, and gazebo. A private swimming pool (7m x 14m) is surrounded by sun loungers and umbrellas and an open-air shower is nearby. Access to the property is via an unpaved, but well-maintained road and covered parking is available for four cars within the grounds.

For a wider range of things to do and see you definitely should visit Arezzo where the acclaimed 1997 movie "La Vita e' Bella," starring Roberto Benigni, was filmed. The first weekend of each month brings a popular antique fair, while annually there is a festival called "Joust of the Saracens," where all of the citizens dress in medieval attire and knights representing each part of the city charge at a target representing a Saracen king. The area is also well situated for day trips throughout Tuscany, including the Chianti region.

Nearby Attractions: Bucine (food shops), Montevarchi (shops, restaurants, markets), Arezzo (shops, restaurants, churches, museums, annual festivals, parks, ancient ruins), Chianti region, Florence, San Gimignano,Volterra.
Volterra: 95 km/59 mi
