“Great vacation home rental!”
This is a very nice, clean and well maintained home. The kitchen is well equipped. Wifi and cable are included-washer and dryer too. We enjoyed sitting on the west facing patio watching the golfers go through. Scotty and Elaine are great hosts and live next door so they are there if you need anything. The neighborhood is newer and we felt very safe. Shopping and restaurants are nearby, walkable if you wish. Wonderful place to stay for your Arizona visit!

“great rental, great landlords”
This home was comfortable and clean and had everything we needed. The owners were so gracious, they treated us as family. They were warm and friendly folks. The wine and beer in the refigerator with a note telling us to enjoy was an extra special treat. They responded quickly when we did have an occasion to call them. The smoke detector battery needed changing as it was doing its incessant loud beeping and the high ceilings in this beautiful home could not be reached without a ladder. When I thanked him for changing it and the lemons and grapefriuts they had left on our doorstep, he asked if the house was missing anything. I mentioned that I appreciated the lemons and had made a lemon meringue pie. I was commenting on howlong it tookmeto do that without an electric mixer. The next day on the doorstep wasan electric mixer. His wife could not believe no one else had mentioned it. It is that kind of hospitality that is trully appreciated. As a side note I made a second pie with the new mixer and it was so much easier. We are so disappointed that this house is already booked in March for next year. I would highly recomend this rental to anyone. It was a great find for us and it was conveniently located to spring baseball. The patio was as described and we spent many an evening and morning enjoying it.
Owner's reply: We would like to tell you how much we enjoyed meeting you and your good friends and what passionate fans you are for the 'Reds' and the 'Indians'.It was a pleasure to make your acquaintance and have many fond memories You truly are enjoying your retirement experiences.
“Excellent family home rental”
My family of four adults stayed at this this family residence in December 2013. Prior to our arrival in Phoenix we were given detailed instructions on how to get to the house. This helped enormously because we arrived after dark. We headed straight to Fries to pick up our groceries and were set to enjoy our vacation. Having the stores and restaurants within walking distance was a bonus. Waking up in the mornings and seeing the mountains was a tremendous treat every day. Because the patio (equipped with BBQ) overlooked the 17th green, we found that it was private and scenic at the same time. The neighbourhood was quiet and peaceful. The home was extremely comfortable and very well equipped. Because we stayed over the Christmas holidays, we did all our baking and cooking with all amenities that came with the house. Having laundry facilities, and extra bedding, linens and toiletries was more than we could ask for. This made our stay feel just like an extension of our own home. Having the Internet was most important because we were able to arrange on line, our hikes, site seeing and tours of the Grand Canyon, Sedona, Phoenix, Scottsdale and surrounding areas. Scotty touched base with us a couple of time just to see if there was any thing we needed, he also provided us with his email address so we were able to communicate with him if we needed directions or information of the area. Our entire family enjoyed our stay at the McLaren's home in Buckeye. We definitely recommend this vacation rental.
Owner's reply: Thanks for all your kind remarks-your stay was appreciated-you an Ron an family welcome anytime--enjoy your retirement.
