Description of the Bullhead City vacation home rental
Your home away from home at the Colorado River. Beautifully maintained house located on quiet culdesac that faces Riverfront Drive. Beautiful view of the Mountains that surround the river. Fully furnished, 3 Bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms, Living Room/Dining, Kitchen, Laundry Room and "Arizona Room", One Car Garage, driveway accommodates up to three vehicles. Desert Landscaping front and back. Brand New Central Air/Heating. Dish TV, Frontier Internet/WIFI, bedding, towels, dishes, etc. provided. Close to river/access.
A few hours away from the Grand Canyon.
Boat Launch at Rotary Park on the river is 2 1/2 miles away from the house. According to our neighbor the fees range from $25-$40 year fee. I have a call into the Rotary Park to verify and will update this. Rotary Park also has a skate park that we took our son to a number of times. The ramps and concrete pools that they skate in were pretty good according to our son. I recall the restroom facilities were decent.
There is also a skateboard park in Needles, Ca just across the river that was sponsored by Tony Hawk a famous skateboarder.

Area Information
Close to Colorado River, shops, stores, museums; minutes to casinos, golf and other recreational interests. A few hours drive to Grand Canyon.
Regarding the Rotary Park:
One Yelp reviewer stated:
"The Rotary Park is a linear park following the river. It is a continuation of the English Village walkway along the east shore. South of the London Bridge and the English Village, the scenery abruptly changes from an English themed village into a riverside park. Grass, trees, and picnic tables replace bars and hotels. On the river is the similar boating activity as the English Village. There are boats everywhere and the majority of the people on the boats seem to be living it up. On the sand people are barbecuing, playing frisbie, and relaxing in the sun. This makes for interesting people watching. And dog watching. Dogs are everywhere. Even on boats. The walkway continues alongside the river until the river widens into Lake Havasu. It seems that the walkway concludes at an overflow parking lot near the skate board park.
Rotary Park is never too far from Arizona Route 95, which is the eastern border. There are a couple of multi-use trails that feed into Arizona Route 95.
If you want to go on a walk that is a great distance further than the London Bridge, it is worth spending time here."
Another Yelp review stated:
"There is a toddler area, big kid area, basketball court, fenced dog park and of course, a small beach near the channels opening that's great for the kids. Best time to hit this place is during the weekdays. Weekends get busy and the crazy visitors from out of state come to the channel specifically to let loose. To avoid your child asking why that woman has stickers on her boobies, stay away on weekends and holidays! Otherwise, great place for the family!"

  • About:

Our family loves Bullhead City, Arizona. We recently acquired the Bullhead City house that was fortunately rented through April of 2015. However, the first renter moved into the house less than two weeks after we closed escrow which gave us a very short time to spruce up the house to how we wanted...

GREAT VACATION GREAT LOCATION

April 28, 2015

My wife and i stayed for Nov. and Dec 2014. We r going back for 3 months this year. The owners r great also the neighbors r very nice. The house is one block off the river, which makes it nice for evening walks. Its about 10 mins from the casinos across the river.U can walk a short distance and fish the river for trout. They r very good eating. U have all the major stores with in 15 mins of the house. The hospital is 10 mins away. Both i and my wife have had to visit the er.The staff and doctors were wounderfull. One the best things about the area is the restaurants so many great ones.We are really looking forward to staying 3 months this year. SEE U IN NOV+++++++++++++.
