Description of the Butler vacation cabin rental
This secluded log cabin is for guests who want to get away from it all, but not too far away from restaurants, grocery stores, and lots of outdoor activities like hiking, biking, boating, fishing, hunting, swimming and more.

Over the mountain from Bristol (not available during Bristol race weekends) just down from the Appalachian Trail in the Cherokee National Forest, short drive from the Virginia Creeper Biking Trail, and if you like ATV trails...come stay with us and enjoy the 50 miles of trails on Doe Mountain.

Or are you a biker? Come ride The Snake aka Highway 421 from Mountain City, TN to Bristol, TN. Keep your bike safely on the deck of the cabin - a fer piece from the road!

Next to a creek, surrounded by rhododendrons and trees, only the deer and turkey will know you are home so if you are so can run around naked!

The gated wrap around deck contains large dogs and small children so you may enjoy your vacation safe in the knowledge that kids and pets won't run into traffic.

Area Information
Butler, "the town that wouldn't drown" is a small town set between the Cherokee National Forest and beautiful Watauga Lake. Small town friendliness and helpfulness means you always have a friend if you need one!

I like to say we are 45 minutes from everything: hike the AT, bike the Virginia Creeper Trail, fish/swim/paddleboard in Watauga Lake, shop antique and craft stores, go caving, visit waterfalls - if it's warm enough, jump in and take a swim, attend the famous NASCAR race at Bristol, hunt for deer, turkey, bear in season or just sit on your deck and enjoy the magic of the mountains.
