About San Diego

Home to some of the most consistently beautiful weather in the U.S., San Diego, California boasts 70-miles of coastline and a world of things to explore. A variety of activities and San Diego vacation rentals are waiting for you. From its beautiful coastline to the thriving nightlife along the harbor and downtown, San Diego is never bland and boring.

Things to Do

The San Diego Zoo has been named Best Zoo in the World in a traveler's choice award. With up close animal encounters, interactive exhibits, and a children's zoo, it's a place you'll remember. This 100-acre zoo also has a guided bus tour, which is a great way to acquaint yourself with the park. It's conveniently located in downtown San Diego in Balboa Park. Balboa Park is America's largest cultural park with fifteen museums. If that's not impressive enough, there are also over 90 golf courses in town. In San Diego, you'll run out of time before you run out of things to do.

When visiting this Pacific Ocean gem, the question isn't what you will do, but rather how you decide what to do. Let's start with the most popular option: beaches, including the popular Coronado Beach. Life here is all about the beach, and you can share the experience, too. Try something new or jump back into an old favorite, whether it's surfing, sailing, running, biking, swimming or diving along the city's beaches and bays. You will be fulfilling a common motto around here: "Happy happens."

There are myriad attractions here for the entire family. In fact, you've probably heard of them: SeaWorld, featuring Shamu in the whale show "Believe" San Diego Zoo Safari Park, where you can take a guided tour and see exotic animals in their large, expansive habitats; and finally LEGOLAND California, featuring dozens of rides, shows, and attractions.
