Description from manager

This detached former chapel, is situated next to the owner's farmhouse on the fringes of Callington, and can sleep two people in one bedroom. Frogwell Chapel is a stone-built, detached cottage dating back to 1864, in the quiet hamlet of Frogmore, near Callington. It boasts a super king-size double bedroom, sleeping two guests. Inside is also a bathroom and an open-plan living room with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with electric fire. To the exterior is ample off-road parking and a private enclosed decked area with furniture and Weber gas barbecue. Frogwell Chapel offers guests a rejuvenating break in a wonderful region of Cornwall.

Amenities: Gas central heating with electric fire. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, washer/dryer, Smart TV with Freeview, WiFi. Fuel and power inc in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent (please bring own beach towels). Ample off-road parking. Private enclosed decked area with furniture and Weber gas barbecue. Two well-behaved dogs welcome (owner may accept more dogs on request). Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 1.2 miles.

Region: Cornwall’s visitors are constantly tempted back to the beautiful coastline, tiny fishing villages, hidden coves and the world-class surfing. Whatever the reason, Cornwall has long cemented its place as one of Britain’s premier holiday destinations.

Town: Callington is set in the heart of the Tamar Valley, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and offers a selection of shops, inns and cafes, as well as being the home of Ginsters Cornish pasties. A few miles away, the village of Calstock clings to the steep banks of the river Tamar and is dominated by the Calstock Railway Viaduct. Other interesting places along the river are Cotehele, a historic house and gardens owned by the National Trust and Morwhellam Quay, a theme park that staged a living history production for the BBC and where visitors can explore the rich mining heritage.
