Location:

Camden is rich in water features. We've got ocean, lakes, and a river. Rocinante is on the river side of town. On a quiet night you may even be able to hear the nearby falls. This charming house is conveniently located two blocks from the center of town, one block from restaurants and shops and the bountiful Camden Farmer's Market.

Style:

Newly restored 1820's Cape with the perfect balance of charm and modern convenience. The house has many of its original charming features such as chestnut floors, plank doors and hardware.

First Floor:

Enter via an attractive sun porch with white-washed bead-board walls and ceiling into a modern and well-equipped kitchen featuring granite counters and a large peninsula. Off the left side of the kitchen is a separate laundry nook which leads on to a large mudroom and out to the back deck. On the right of the kitchen are stairs to the second floor. Please note these stairs are steep and open to one side. The spacious dining room, with its original chestnut floors, opens directly to the kitchen. From the dining room there is direct access to both the cozy and comfotrable queen bedroom and renovated bathroom with its claw-foot tub and overhead shower. A small hallway, which offers alternative access to the second floor via a very narrow and steep staircase, leads on to the large living room. The Victorian style decor and wood effect gas stove make this a welcoming place to read or watch TV.

Second Floor:

At the front of the house the large and cheery master bedroom, with its new king bed and spacious wardrobes, has a view of Mount Battie. Next door, the modern bathroom has a tiled shower and plenty of counter and storage space. A hallway with desk and drawers leads on to a further two bedrooms - one brightly decorated room with two twin beds, the other a cozy room with a full bed.

Pets: Pets are not allowed on the premises.
