Description of the Canyon Lake vacation home rental
A vacation at our "Hideaway" lake front property is one you'll remember for a lifetime. Canyon Lake is a unique community among rolling hills in the midst of lake and river waters. Water activities are easily accessible since we are located directly on the waterfront, you will be able to conveniently enjoy all the lake has to offer. Head down the private trail to the cove to swim, fish or try out one of the kayaks, or just hang out on the waters edge and take in the beauty and the warmth of the sun as you enjoy a cool beverage by the lake.

Jump in your boat (bring your own and anchor it in the cove or rent one by the hour. There are two boat ramps close by. Head out to the open water to tube, ski, wakeboard or fish for the "big ones". There is great fishing on Canyon Lake for bass, striped bass, white bass, crappie, perch and very large catfish. Canyon Lake is also known for its great sailing conditions, so you may want to rent one from the marina while you're visiting. Canyon Lake is one of the clearest and most beautiful lakes in Texas. You can't help but have a great time on this lake. The cedar and oak woods are saturated with wildlife. The neighborhood is shared with pet-like deer. It's a very calming and natural environment.

You will find the home to be very accommodating with plenty of space for friends and family gatherings (we have other properties available on the same street for larger groups). The home has been newly remodeled and feels brand new with many modern day conveniences including: a fully equipped kitchen with granite counters, an entertainment center which is linked to speakers to be enjoyed on the deck, cable TV and computer with internet access. Upstairs is a pool table, game console and a variety of board games to be enjoyed by the kids or young at heart. A small grocery store is nearby for any and all items you may need.

The home has a large back deck with several tables, umbrellas, and a bar area. Enjoy the lake view as you sit on the deck sipping a cool beverage visiting with friends and family. The back yard is very large and completely fenced. There is plenty of room to play croquette, volleyball or horseshoes, which are provided. There is pond that is on the property that is filtered and has two waterfalls. You can actually swim in it if you want! At night, enjoy the starry sky as you roast marshmallows in the fire pit.
