Description of the Cape Agulhas vacation b&b rental
Our studio offers lounge and bedroom areas with a view of the ocean. The comfy king size bed is also extra length for our taller visitors!

Your own bathroom has a shower and there is an additional outside shower (hot & cold water) for rinsing off after a swim in the tidal pool or the sea.

Breakfast

A breakfast of cereals, yogurt, fresh fruit salad, fresh croissants with home made preserves and filter coffee or tea is served on the veranda or in your room.

While the tap water is safe to drink, our own osmosis plants ensures it tastes wonderful too. Tea and coffee making facilities are in the room.

Guests are welcome to enjoy our sunny courtyard and fynbos garden that leads directly to the seafront.

While we don't have TV, there is a large screen monitor and a DVD player. You are welcome to use our library of over 350 movies.

Free Wifi available.

We also have a selection of boogie boards, snorkelling and scuba gear for loan and hire.

The tidal pool is right on the doorstep with the historic Agulhas Lighthouse a 5 minute stroll away. A gentle walk along a boardwalk will take you to the southern tip of Africa. The path starts outside the gate.

We are on the threshold of the Agulhas National Park.

Area Information
The Overberg is the breadbasket of the Western Cape and rolling hills and a spectacular drive guide you to the Southern tip of Africa. The African Blue Crane can be seen in the fields and there are the quaint villages of Napier and Bredasdorp to explore along the way.

This area is unspoilt, perfect for nature lovers and those wanting to get away from it all. The old time virtues of courtesy and hospitality are still alive in this part of the world and you will feel welcomed and at home immediately.

There is plenty to see - the Struis Bay Harbour offers deep sea fishing, huge stingrays that follow the fishing boats into the harbour, Pelican's restaurant for sea fresh fish or just a stroll with an ice cream.

The historic cottages of the original fishermen are seen as you enter the area at Hotagterklip.

Glorious beaches that go on for miles; ideal kitesurfing conditions; rock pools to explore; a rich floral kingdom and exquisite birdlife are all here for you to experience.

The Studio is 2 minutes stroll from the historic Agulhas lighthouse and a further 10 minute walk along a boardwalk will take you to the most Southern point of the African continent.

You can find one of the many shipwrecks that litter this coastline short drive away.

This is a place to relax and recharge, to rediscover your soul.
