5/9/14 Stay: We stayed in this lovely cottage for Mother's Day weekend, bringing family members together for what was also my mother's 81st birthday. We couldn't have made a better choice, and we couldn't have been more comfortable. In every room, the care with which this cottage has been restored and maintained is evident. The weather provided an ideal opportunity for us to take full advantage of the front and side porches, and we also made use of the spacious kitchen and dining area and the front living room with its large TV and comfortable sofas. The location also seemed to be ideal, just minutes away from beaches, shops, restaurants and other attractions. We would definitely stay here again.
What a wonderful way to spend Mothers Day. This weekend was a beautiful weekend to enjoy Cape May. We offer a wonderfully restored and furnished cottage for our guests including a professionally cleaned cottage, beach bikes, beach chairs, beach umbrella, beach blankets, also a beach box Memorial Day - Labor Day. Cape May offers restaurants within two blocks of our cottage, many more within a 5 minute walk, short walk to town and of course the beach. Stay or a week or a weekend for a wonderful treat for your family.
6/10/14 Stay: We had a wonderful stay at Kevin's property on Third street in Cape May. We arrived a little early and Kevin was finishing up readying the house and he gave us a tour of his wonderful home. It had every amenity and convenience one could think of and it was pristine clean and very nicely decorated. The bedding was clean and new and the couches very comfortable. There were TVs everywhere. The kitchen had everything we needed, even including an electric griddle. There were two grills for cookouts conveniently located in the garage behind the house. It was great to have bikes at our disposal, as we either walked or rode everywhere. Didn't use our car all week! Parking was convenient either on the street or in the driveway. The appliances all worked great including W/D and D/W. The beach box was a wonderful addition, as we didn't have to lug chairs or umbrella or beach blanket down to the beach, and we could store things in the box as well. We enjoyed biking to the Point and hiking the trails and walking and shopping in town. We had a great dinner at a restaurant on the Washington street mall, and enjoyed a unique cheese sampling at a local cheese shop for dinner one night. We would definitely recommend this property to friends and family and had both staying with us this year. We already have the house reserved for next year!
7/19/14 Stay: This is the fourth or fifth time we have stayed at this vacation home. Without a doubt, the owners are the most conscientious property-owners we have ever dealt with. They think of absolutely everything and as a result, our vacation is always perfect. While the owner's can't control the weather, they can and do make everything else exactly as I want it in my own home: clean, modern, efficient. From the moment you step on the front porch (ceiling fans!) to the shed in the back of the house (bicyles! Grill! Chairs!), the home owners have provided almost every convenience possible. We highly recommend this home. And of course, the location is fantastic, too!
8/2/14 Stay: Lovely Cape May house. Spotless and cozy. The owners were very accomadating. Would recommend this property to others. Love all the bikes and beach box.
8/9/14 Stay: We had another great week staying at this great house! It is our 4th family vacation in this house and we will be back next year also . This house is close to everything you want to do within a bike ride. The house is beautiful and has all the conveniences of home. Kevin is great to deal with and always a Just a phone call away if needed. Thanks again for a great and memorable vacation. See you next year!!
9/13/14 Stay: This house is lovely, comfortable, and has nice amenities including numerous bikes. It was great to park and then walk or ride bikes to activities or dinner. We had a wonderful visit.
9/20/14 Stay: We have been coming to Cape May for over thirty years, and this is our third year in the Yellow House. The only thing that would make this house better is if it were located directly on the beach! Most importantly, it is clean, furnished very comfortably, has room enough for everyone, and the owners are most accommodating, and always available. The neighborhood is lovely. We had a wonderful week, sunny, gorgeous weather, great meals from our favorite restaurants.....breakfast at Dock Mike's and Mad Batter.....lunch at Zoe's, Tisha's, Bella Vida.....dinner at the Washington Inn, the Merion, and Lobster House. My friend recommended the chocolate milkshake for dessert at the Lobster House. Oh my, if you want to think you died and went to heaven, try it. Shopping is always a delight at the Washington Street Mall, West End Garage, and Congress Hall. Morning coffee and a good book on the second floor screened in porch is one of my favorite things. Beach chairs, bikes, grills etc. are added conveniences. Our decision to stay in the Yellow House was originally based on being able to take our dog, Sophie, who loves Cape May as much as we do. Thank you, Kevin, for your expertise in making available a perfect Beach House for dog lovers. Kevin goes the extra mile for his tenants, and you will want to do the same for him.
9/28/14 Stay: We had a great time at Cape May and we loved the rental we stayed in..very spacious and roomy and very clean. and located in a great neighborhood. We loved having the bikes and were able to walk downtown.Great vacation rental and wedding rental.
4/3/15 Stay: Kevin, the owner, provided the venue and information about Cape May to make our stay very memorable. The yellow house was a fantastic choice for our family to gather. The house was impeccably maintained and the owner is genuinely concerned that he provides his guests with everything promised. I would highly recommend this house to family and friends. Bravo, Kevin, thank you very much.
06/06/2015 Stay. This was the fourth year renting one of Kevin's properties and the second year at the big yellow house. The house is perfect for our family of 7 (w/space left over). There's no better place to spend a week than this house in this historical beach town.
06/20/2015 Stay. This was our first time staying at this property after many stays in Cape May and we were very impressed. Property was clean and well maintained, top of the line amenities, and almost everything you could possibly need for a great worry free vacation. Kevin makes sure everything is well explained and even has extra tips on what to do, where to go, the latest events, etc. He is a phone call away for any problems, which was great compared to our experiences w/ properties run by management companies. Location was great. Quiet neighborhood, within 12 minute walk to beach (although there are several bicycles on site to use), short walk to Washington St. Mall area. We highly recommend giving this or any of Kevin's properties a try. We know we'll be back!
